"New Girl" is a self-produced release by Oslo-based artist, DJ, and producer Tilla. The song is a tribute to all newcomers to the city, capturing the mood of those early days in a new place. Featuring ambient Oslo subway sounds and subtle R&B, soul, and hip-hop influences, "New Girl" is perfect for listening while commuting. Originally a discarded 2017 demo, it gained new life after Tilla performed it live. It lead to enthusiastic requests for its release, with a remix soon to be released.
