This was 75% of my live set at Lapa Stage, on Sunday night, or Monday morning, it's all about perspective.

For those who are wondering about the 25% missing, I would like to keep it a secret, honoring the dancers who were there, creating together in intimacy. Those moments will remain forever in my soul.

Special gratitud to my brothers @goldcap and @matanza for play the congas and their light, the red women, the pineapple guy, açaí bowl corner, 2pac, Astarious, stage manager and sound guy. To all the tribes that stand and fight around the planet, so that ancestral wisdom is not lost. @aysarita for the whales and Yawanawa chants, and all the amazing artists that inspired me every day, they are many.

Lapa Stage at Envision Festival <Live>

The more we live in the new realities, the harder it becomes to imagine what life would be like if the virus thing had not happened at all. It’s only a matter of time when we’ll run out of days we had planned before the pandemic, which became invisible pages in some unwritten book. We’ll then come to terms with the new days, realizing that we are going to divide life before the isolation and after it, stuck amid some incomprehensible present, a what-we-could-have-done past and the what-comes-ahead future. No matter how fast we come to terms with the fact that we need to redefine and re-plan everything, and no matter how soon we decide to abstain from planning anything at all, we are nonetheless going to have a small and insignificant feeling of regret for the days we thought were important and were going to change the way we felt and the way saw things. And those “unfulfilled days” will remain the only link between the former and future realities.
@vikenarman and @acidpauli’s six-hour set they played at @Rambalkoshe marked, in some sense, the beginning of their joint performances. They were supposed to play b2b all night long at Berlin’s Watergate club today to officially kick start the new chapter both of them were so passionate about. To celebrate such a milestone, we are publishing an excerpt from the set this unbelievable symbiosis played at Rambalkoshe a year ago and took around hundred people to a different dimension, filled with nothing but incredible and infinite energy.

As summer is slowly starting up we’re happy to provide you with a foretaste of a sensationally cool summer drink: Oceanvs Orientalis’ Summer Reign is perfectly crafted with only the freshest summer jams.  

Founded by Safak Oz Kutle, Oceanvs Orientalis is a formation which aims to challenge the aesthetic perception in electronic music.

A few years back, the Turkey born producer was not even in electronic music. Working as a graphic designer in Istanbul, he was using his housemate’s copy of Ableton to make symphonic tracks influenced by his love of world and classical music. The turning point came when he put a kick-drum beneath his productions. Since 2011 he performs as DJ and live act. 

And he recently founded his own label, Kanto Records, which he describes as an art collective without restrictions of a run-of-the-mill label companies.

Oceanvs Orientalis, tunes are not in a hurry. So aren’t we on a hot summer day. And so aren’t we sipping on this delicious Summer Reign! Bartender, we’re having another round!
