Generation Cult's live show and literary event happened on stage at The Lost Church San Francisco in front of a fabulous audience on June 26, 2025. If you missed it, you're in luck because the recording is finally out now! 

It was a late night in North Beach deep down in the Victorian speakeasy-style venue that hosted our show and book signing featuring the three authors who were our guests: Sarito Carroll, Anke Richter and Janja Lalich. Host Dhyana Levey moderated the discussion about children raised in cults, the authors' books, and what to watch out for in a potentially abusive group. 

Sure, the conversations got a bit intense. But everyone still had a good time. How could we not with Johnny Tripod bartending and cool tunes on the sound system by local SF Bay Area band The Chaw? 

Sarito celebrated the release of her new memoir, In the Shadow of Enlightenment, detailing her upbringing in the Osho Rajneesh cult 40 years after the infamous commune’s collapse. And, yeah, we talked a little about the Netflix documentary "Wild Wild Country" and its star Ma Anand Sheela ... but there is just so much more to this story. We also got a big-time expert to weigh in on our discussions and share a bit about the harsh political cult she spent a decade in. El icónico mercadillo, donde pasaron artistas como Bob Marley, Brian May (Queen), Ron Wood (The Rolling Stones), Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin), Mike Oldfield, Bob Geldof, Nina Hagen (actuó varias veces), UB40, Manu Chao, 
Paul Collins, entre otros. Y que hoy es el templo de artistas como Sven Vath (que actualmente tiene su residencia), John Digweed, Lee Burridge, Nick Warren, James Zabiela, Dubfire, Francesca Lombardo, entre otros.

Fueron 2 horas que se fueron volando, pero que quedaran en mi memoria y en mi corazon siempre. Clima familiar, feliz, liviano (a pesar de la ola de calor), e ideal para disfrutar de un renovado jardín, hecho con mucho amor por todo el equipo que esta detrás de Las Dalias. Respeto y amor por como este lugar tan icónico se sigue reinvenando año tras año.

On Thursday, July 17th, 2025, I had the pleasure, the honor, and the opportunity to open one of Hernán’s three events during his summer residency at Las Dalias, Ibiza.

The iconic market venue where legendary artists like Bob Marley, Brian May (Queen), Ron Wood (The Rolling Stones), Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin), Mike Oldfield, Bob Geldof, Nina Hagen (who performed several times), UB40, Manu Chao, Paul Collins, and many others have left their mark.
Today, it continues to thrive as a temple of music, hosting artists such as Sven Väth (who currently holds a residency), John Digweed, Lee Burridge, Nick Warren, James Zabiela, Dubfire, Francesca Lombardo, among others.

I played for two hours that flew by, but will stay in my heart and memory forever.
A family-like, joyful, and light atmosphere (despite the heat wave), and the perfect setting to enjoy a beautifully renewed garden — lovingly crafted by the entire team behind Las Dalias. I have deep respect and admiration for how this iconic place continues to reinvent itself year after year.

Thank you to everyone who shared that moment with me, and to those who are constantly supporting !

Super quartet from New York led by Linda May Han Oh, bassist of the year according to the Jazz Journalists’ Association, who previously played with Pat Metheny.

From rock solid accompaniment on double bass to elastic electric bass lines: Linda May Han Oh has mastered it, becoming one with her instrument on stage. On top of that she is an excellent composer of tunes that seem ‘simple and clear, many with folk-like melodies, but are actually complex constructions involving intricate overlays of different densities and activity, sometimes coming into phase, sometimes gently straying apart’, according to Downbeat in a ****½ review of the album Walk Against Wind.

Linda May Han Oh was born in Malaysia and grew up in Australia, but her music breathes the energy of her current hometown New York, where she became part of the bands of Pat Metheny, Dave Douglas and Joe Lovano. Past summer she gave a wonderful concert at the BIMHUIS as part of the trio of her partner, pianist Fabian Almazan. Now the couple is back in a new trio featuring super drummer Rudy Royston.

‘Her innovative range and stellar improvisations have made miss Oh one of the most dynamic rising stars in jazz today’ (Wall Street Journal).

My name is stephen. I'm a DJ based in Cincinnati OH mixing primarily deep house. Vinyl when I can but I'm no snob.

"Leading the Queer nightlife for more than 25 years, Ben Manson is a french DJ and producer who was a resident at the legendary Queen Club, Scream in Paris, and played in some key places through Europe and the rest of the world such as Fuse Brussels, Pratersauna Vienna, Magdalena Berlin, Bordeline Basel or Blitz Munich and some of the most popular events like Mess, Vertigo or Bizarre Queer Festival in Paris. 
 
He also launched his own monthly parties LESS DRAMA MORE TECHNO in 2015 where he could illustrate his own definition of music.
