⫸ The Dark Night of the Soul is one aspect of what I call « Shadow Work ». It’s the initiatory process that, if we decide to dive deep in it, allows us to face ourselves in a mirror and peal the layers of our own lies, the stories we tend to tell to ourselves. The ones that create the illusion we live in. It’s also about identifying what triggers us. Going through the practice of « Shadow Work » is a deep process of self-truth that helps us remember who we really are, what are our core values. It connects us to our heart, our true essence. It opens our hearts to the most beautiful marvels of our luminous being, simply because shadows are only parts that are not enlightened yet and by healing our wounds and transmuting them, they become the opportunity to transform into our most powerful gifts we can offer to the world to live in better harmony with ourselves and others. This set is one facet of the shadow work I’m going though. From Darkness to Light. From Doubts to Clarity. From Sadness to Joy. A very interesting and powerful process that I wish you to enjoy as much as I embraced it. ❇

In a time of uncertainty, a short trip home from Berlin to New Zealand turned into a much longer, extended stay. It became a time for reconnection with his homeland, welcoming new family members into this life, and also saying goodbye to his grandfather for the last time.

Driven by the inspiration of a world left behind, this album was written in Harry’s parent's house in Christchurch.

Born in the dark streets of Cairo, grown to the unforgettable forests of Santa Esmeralda, spending its teen years in Bombay and Tangier markets, mature into the deep spacey Jungle of Ghana we proudly present you a new label from the land of the pyramids: SHANGO RECORDS invites you to an unheard world music psychedelic trip: like through a colorful kaleidoscope we will melt down Indian and Pakistani Vibes, Arab-Tek and Oriental groovy vibes, Afro-Beat rhythms n' pieces, Cumbia Tropicana flavors and cosmic Ghetto-Latin vibes into forbidden sounds of frenzied electronic dancefloor rituals. Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

At the very hub of this wheel which is falling apart, is Beauty. And it will keep on rolling until everything that has gone to make up the wheel has disintegrated. It has already rolled over a goodly portion of the globe, over Persia and India and China, and like a magnet he has attached to itself microscopic particles from Kurd, Baluchistan, Timbuktu, Somaliland, Angkor, Tierra del Fuego. The odalisques it has studded with malachite and jasper, their flesh veiled with a thousand eyes, perfumed eyes dipped in the sperm of whales. Wherever a breeze stirs there are breasts as cool as jelly, white pigeons come to flutter and rut in the ice-blue veins of the Himalayas. The wallpaper with which the men of science have covered the world of reality is falling to tatters. The grand whorehouse which they have made of life requires no decoration; it is essential only that the drains function adequately. Beauty, that feline beauty which has us by the balls all around the world, is finished. To fathom the new reality it is first necessary to dismantle the drains, to lay open the gangrened ducts which compose the genito-urinary system that supplies the excreta of art. The odor of the day is permanganate and formaldehyde. The drains are clogged with strangled embryos.

Is he the Eagle, the Head of the Nest, 
Playing a very important Role? 

Does he impersonate Father Christmas 
With all his Treats and Gifts? 

Is he a Lover, with a Strong Heart for ******* 
Hugging greatly and giving Love-Lifts? 

Does he Pray, 
Or Face-Religious? 

Or a Braver, 
Or Spontaneous? 

Is he a Disciplinarian 
Wherewithin all Members under him 
Are tuned to his Command? 

Or a Freester, 
Who gives his Kids their darling Freedom 
Without any Demand? 

Does he care, 
For the People and Loved Ones around him? 

Is he Provocative, 
Uncaring for Anyone behind his Dim? 

Mostly, he is the Grass, 
Herding the Future for his Offspring? 

Or the Lamb, 
Stubborn and very Unwilling? 

And so, whatever he is, 
Or does, 
Pá is Pá <-> (A Father is a Father),  
Anonymous or Specific 
I wouldn't mind. 

Just as long as he has
HEART, STRENGTH, FREEDOM and PROSPERITY, 
KINDNESS, BRAVE, PROTECTIVE 
And RELIABILITY. 

I'll be Glad and Content. As any Son should be.
