I am Mick Swagger. I am Mickale Davis. I am Legend. To be honest I don't know who I am. I'm just a regular dude that likes nice things and was blessed with gift to write dope music and the talent to portray it. I love GOD, Family, Money, Music, and Women and in that order. and yeah I'm from da hood but I'm not sellin a story of how I came from nuffin and all that, I came from where I came from and everything I got I grinded for and earned. Im Selfmade....cuz nigga I came from the gutter.....lol.... Sike nagh. I started making music as a kid, never really took it serious until I went to college and I seen the way people were gravitating to my music, like calling me to come to studio sessions to arrange their records and to pen hooks. Thats when I realized I had the gift to write music that was relative to peoples lives. To Be Honest Mickale Davis is the realest writer I know. I mean we hear a lot of artist talking dat real $h%# but how much of it is the truth. Mick is an extremely personal writer almost to the point where too personal. He speaks truth with no heavy emphasis on embellishment. I mean "I'm not the hardest rapper and I'm far from the softest singer", but life just speaks to me in the language of music and I take it and translate it to the listeners in a way they can understand it and relate to it. Never really gave too much thought to who my creative influences were because I never desired to be or be like anyone but myself, however I do respect the greats from 2pac and Biggie to Anita Baker and Luther Vandross. I make music for myself and those like me who go thru everyday normal life. Maybe when I get on and my life changes my music will change, but until then I'll just be a regular dude that likes nice things, blessed with gift to write dope relative music and the talent to portray it. I love to make music I love to get money and I love to have fun. That's what life is about right? You think you know but you have no idea. I am Mick Swagger
