Yo Grapes is the indie-pop solo act of Craig Durrant, who also happens to be the drummer of local indie/ rock fellows Desmond and the Tutus. Craig has been creating, releasing and performing songs since 2011 and has since found a loyal following of fans in a whole bunch of different places. People seem to enjoy songs like ‘Holiday’, ‘December’ and ‘Human of the Week’ which are a combination of made up stories, true life events and other words that rhyme or sound nice in the moment. 

In 2016, Yo Grapes started to release the next wave of tracks with ‘I Play The Drums’ being the first single. The song got radio play on national and local stations across South Africa - if that means anything to you. The next single ‘Weekend Shy Boy’ was released in 2017.

In the 6 years since Zebra & Giraffe played their first show to an expectant crowd at Oppikoppi Wild Card 2008, the band have headlined all of South Africa’s major festivals, toured the length and breadth of the country and played alongside The Killers, Snow Patrol, Oasis, Sum41, Prodigy and Panic at the Disco. In 2009 they were invited to play live at the MTV Africa Music Awards in Nairobi, Kenya, and in 2011 played at MusExpo, “the United Nations of music and media”, in Los Angeles.

Knuckles” will be the fourth studio release from Zebra & Giraffe and is due out in August 2014. It follows “Collected Memories” (2008) which produced seven Top10 singles and won the SAMA for ‘Best Rock Album’ and the MTV All Africa Award for the band as ‘Best Alternative Band’; “The Knife EP” (2010), launched internationally and mixed at Metropolis Studios in London (Editors, Florence and The Machine, Snow Patrol, U2); “The Inside” (2010), released as standard and deluxe editions, including a “Making of…” DVD; and “The Wisest Ones” (2012) which again won the SAMA for ‘Best Rock Album’ and earned MK Music Awards nominations for ‘Best Video’, ‘Best Group’ and ‘Best Rock Album’.

I AM is an electro-pop-alternative band based in Pretoria, South Africa who toured over 12 dates around the country and are about to hit the road again in the summer. The band’s sound is very reminiscent of The 1975 to Awolnation and Panic at the disco. The band has gained amazing traction on tour by promoting their hard live act and vibrant musical creativity. They have shared the stage with the likes of Zebra and Giraffe, CrashCarBrun and GoodLuck just to name a few. Earlier this year, they released their single ‘Raincheck’ which made its way to the South African Top 10 radio charts, peaking at #2
