'Severance' is the follow-up to Robert O'Connor's critically acclaimed 2020 EP 'Transcendence', which was hailed "A pop masterpiece" by RGM magazine.

The 8-track opus sees Robert step into the big leagues, working with Gareth Shortland (Steps, Erasure) and Richey McCourt (Aimée, Erica Cody) to create a collection of songs that are laser-focused, both sonically and lyrically.

Speaking of the record, Robert says: “Lyrically, it’s almost conceptual, looking at how the past few turbulent years in the world have seen us sever ties in our lives – from friendships to relationships and even professionally. We’ve had time to think ‘is this what I want for my life’?”

'Severance' is released on October 7 and features the brand new single "One Way Ticket", plus Robert's three consecutive #2 hits on the LGBTQ Music Chart: "Save You", "Been & Gone" & "The Last Time".

“Frustrierte Menschen / Frustrated People” is a German-English double single and the first release on Valiant Horizon by SLASHERS X Konrad Berger. The song is a satire about people that are never satisfied and are always looking for the little thing - which they never find. Because of their behavior, they not only do not enjoy their own life but are also damaging their health as well. The song is a cautionary tale with a universal theme that the masses can learn  from by avoiding this way of life thereby ultimately presenting optimism in the end.  “Frustrierte Menschen / Frustrated People”  was composed by band member Steve Gobin. The German lyrics came first and were written by Markus Wagner.  Konrad Berger adapted the lyrics into English in concert with Gobin while keeping their meaning as close to the German version as possible.
