Theo Dureau emerges from New Orleans' iconic music scene while blending the worlds of Classic R&B/Soul, Steppers, Adult Contemporary and Classic Pop. Theo preserves and credits the integrity of his musical inspiration through his musical instrumentation, lyrics, production, vocal arrangements, and compositions.

Theo’s musical career began in 1993. However, his musical journey started when he was just a child listening to icons who inevitably became his inspiration to pursue music. Legends such as Stevie Wonder, Incognito, Quincy Jones and Seal opened his mind to transfer his interpretation of Love, Freedom, and outspokenness into musical expression. ​Being from New Orleans made that transition flow smoothly.

Theo has always been driven by the artistic charm of his city; and that drive created a passion within him that allowed him to appreciate all of the musical pioneers in any music genre while interpreting life and life’s experiences harmoniously.  ​Although he has not released any full length albums to date, Theo's recently released love Anthem "You" is currently available on all online stores and streaming services. Theo is also working on two major projects. One entitled Genereless (Genre-Less) and the other Soul Major 7. The notion behind Genereless is freedom of musical expression without the pressure to conform to a genre.

Maxwell has artfully managed to transfix music lovers for more than two decades, releasing five studio albums, all in his own time and all duly anointed as classics. The soul singer redefined soul music in April of 1996 when he released his critically acclaimed debut on Columbia, ‘Maxwell’s Urban Hang Suite.’ It earned Grammy nominations, double platinum status and RIAA gold for the single, “Ascension (Don’t Ever Wonder).” The platinum albums ‘Embrya’ (1998) and ‘Now’ (2001) followed. In 2009, Maxwell’s ‘BLACKsummers’night’ debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, earning two Grammy awards, including Best R&B Album. With a total of 4 platinum album certifications from the RIAA, Maxwell’s latest album, ‘blackSUMMERS’night,’ earned him a third Grammy (Best R&B Song for “Lake By The Ocean”), an NAACP Image Award (Outstanding Male Artist), and a Soul Train Award (Best R&B/Soul Male Artist). Recent accolades for Maxwell include the “Legend” Award at the 2021 Soul Train Awards and a performance at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards, where he paid tribute to Michael Jackson with “The Lady In My Life.” His critically acclaimed ‘The Night Tour’ also made Pollstar’s 2022 list of “Top 20 Global Concert Tours,” determined by average box office gross and the average ticket price for shows worldwide.

This musical journey started when DJ Jairzinho was 13, entertaining was in his blood. Regularly showing his talents of Rap, Beatbox & creativity when it came to producing mixtures for his fellow peers to listen to.
Roll forward 5 years, DJ Jairzinho was partying to many sound systems across the UK and continually studying the art form of deejaying / mixing, and new tricks as technology advances. Playing to audiences within house parties and featuring at various club nights the journey within music for DJ Jairzinho was well underway.
He is responsible for being one of the pioneers of internet radio, setting up his very own Radio Station after getting a feel for presenting on community radio. To date DJ Jairzinho continues to create his mixtapes and play to audiences world wide.
What makes DJ Jairzinho different is that his love for music goes far beyond the sound and lyrics. For him its all about the engagement and being at one with music, creating and giving good vibes to his audience. 
Being into all genres and listening to anything that is creatively good makes DJ Jairzinho a rounded and diverse DJ who can entertain any audience.

Since top-tier jazz and multiple Grammy-winning trumpeter and composer Terence  Blanchard embarked on his solo recording career with his eponymous Columbia Records album in 1991, the New Orleans-born and -based artist has traveled many paths musically, including delivering adventurous and provocative acoustic jazz outings of original material, composing over 50 soundtracks and even, in 2013, debuting Champion: An Opera in Jazz. He has also, in the spirit of his onetime membership in the jazz school of Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers, mentored several musicians in his bands who have gone on to have significant recording careers of their own (including Lionel Loueke, Aaron Parks, Kendrick Scott and one of his current band members Fabian Almazan). As  a  leader  and  co-leader  (significantly  four  albums  early  in  his  career  with  fellow Crescent  City  artist, saxophonist Donald Harrison), Blanchard has recorded more than 30 albums that often defied genres, yet were still critically acclaimed. But for his latest Blue Note Records album, Breathless, Blanchard powerfully and playfully journeys into another jazz realm with his new quintet, The E-Collective—an exciting zone of grooved fusion teeming with funk, R&B and blues colors. 

Produced by the trumpeter and his manager Robin Burgess and executive produced by Blue Note president Don Was, the adventurous 13-tune recording zeroes in on several Blanchard originals, an epic-length piece by Almazan and a scattering of covers, sung by soothing and soulful vocalist P.J. Morton (a member of the band Maroon 5), including an exhilarating take on the modern standard “Compared to What“ made famous by LesMcCann and Eddie Harris, and the soul-vibed and lyrical take on “I Ain’t Got Nothin’ But Time” penned by Hank Williams. Plus, Morton sings the compelling pop-styled, song-of-strength tune, ”Shutting Down,” written by Blanchard’s talented son, T. Oliver Blanchard Jr., aka JRei Oliver, who also contributes spoken-word excerpts on others.  

It’s a first foray into straight-up grooveland for Blanchard, and he’s thrilled with the dance-steeped party he and his quintet (and guests) have cooked up. “Breathless is the album I’ve been wanting to do for quite awhile,” he says. “Growing up I was listening to the Head Hunters and Weather Report, which had a strong effect on me. I always listened to groove-based music—Jimi Hendrix, Parliament Funkadelic and then later listening to Prince and D’Angelo and later what [jazz trumpeter] Russell Gunn was doing. But up to this point, I had never explored it.”

I began spinning House Music in the 80's and did so through college. In 2010 I began making mixes for a step instructor of mine, and after being "retired" for two decades, i caught the bug again and have returned to the tables. House is my first love, but I also mix hip hop, R&B, rock, soul, funk, pop  and steppers music.

There is no place you cannot go, Messenger of God, there is no place you cannot take me.
