Austrian duo Camo & Krooked smashed back onto the scene this autumn with a bang, releasing their much anticipated second album "Zeitgeist". Causing waves across the D&B scene, and wider dance music scenes with it's unique disco-infused sound 'Zeitgeist' has been heralded by many as one of the albums of the year.

'Loving You Is Easy' shows us even more soul and disco style from the boys, and has become a centrepiece of their DJ sets, as well as radio tracklistings across the airwaves.

Alongside the original tempo version there are remixes from S.P.Y who ups the twists up both genre and tempo pairing an infectious garage bassline under skittering d&b backing, Infuze strips things back with some minimal dub sensibility while up-coming Belgian star Pomrad broadens the genre-pool further with his unique maximal sound.

As if all that wasn't enough the package is rounded off with the apocalyptic 'Armageddon' featuring the signature Camo & Krooked sound. Heavy industrial synths build and build to a riotous drop with pile driving drums and shuddering sub-bass.

"One day way back in our student housing days we were working on a remix and accidentally came up with a riff that had nothing to do with the song we were remixing. It sounded like it could be 'Electro'! We decided it needed it's own song. So we wrote 'Yellow Brick'. It probably got it's name from being a loud (brick) angry and acidic (yellow) song. Or maybe from something else. The breakdown bass patterns and filters are still a favourite at Noisia HQ. Enjoy." - @Noisia

This relationship between absence and presence that characterizes our life is the philosophical foundation of Two Fold: Part One.These tracks explore duality through simplicity and complexity, organic and synthetic, energetic and calm.

Dichotomy (Soft Mix)

Technology. Both a blessing and a curse. Advancements in music technology has made making music more accessible than ever but at the same time raised the bar in the competition stakes and getting your music out there and heard with so many outlets competing for our attention is arguably harder than it has ever been. One way to make yourself stand out is to have many strings to your bow; thus when we first came across rapidly rising star of the Drum & Bass world, Erb N Dub as a talented DJ, producer, label boss, drummer and teacher it’s fair to say that we were more than a little impressed. 

Since the birth of his musical career Erb N Dub has collaborated with, and remixed, some of the dance scenes highest rollers including DJ Fresh, Foreign Beggars, Krafty Kuts, Micky Finn, Freestylers and Navigator. He continues to have releases on some of the scene’s biggest labels, Playaz and Technique as well as releases on his own labels, Bad Monkey and Dub Monkey Records.

His four deck shows are a full throttle, bass-assault covering every form of Drum & Bass imaginable. Perfectly mixed and blended with Erb’s unique style of scratching and intertwined with infectious live drums, Erb N Dub’s ferocious DJ sets are something to pay attention to. These whirlwind performances have seen Erb N Dub perform his tracks at festivals and clubs across the globe.

So with all that in mind our next thought was how can we get him on the podcast? The answer simple. Just ask and now welcoming in the warm weather we’re pleased to be able to share his talents with you. Turn it up!
