Slizzy K was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas until he moved to Charleston, SC at the age of 14. Growing up, he loved watching music award showcases and knew he was meant to perform on those same stages. Music has always been a significant part of his life, yet once he entered middle school, Slizzy K began to focus on his abilities. After figuring out how to use platforms such as Soundcloud, he released his first remix to “Watch Out” by 2 Chainz. Once Slizzy K saw its positive reactions, he continued to improve his craft. After releasing “Hilltop Shawty” and “Gone Head”, anthems in South Carolina, Slizzy K decided to take a more vulnerable route within his music which led to a melodic banger “Fall Down”. Along with the single, Slizzy K released a jaw-dropping music video showcasing a strong sense of vulnerability. He once told a reporter, “When my supporters look into the mirror, I want them to gain a new sense of confidence.” Slizzy K strives to leave his mark after each project while creating a space where listeners embody a sense of self-assurance and self-worth.
