The irrepressible Jacky & Friends label comes correct with more chunky and ass-wiggling house music. This time up it's Melbourne based beat maker Holmes John with the raw and direct dance floor dynamite, and this new EP comes hot on the heels of John's recent red hot collaboration with label boss Jacky on Superfett.

Opener Ass is a naughty tune with a rude bassline, chopped up vocals and woodpecker hits that are all driven along by slick rubbery kicks. House music doesn't come more powerful and emotive. Next up is Love Track, a scorching vocal banger with heart wrenching female vocals doing real gymnastics above tightly knotted drums. It's the sort of cut to really blow up the crowd and leave them begging for more.

This is another hugely characterful and effective EP.

A four-track release, ‘The 302’ opens with the title track: a stripped-back slice of high-energy house music that follows the same formula as Deeon’s 1996 cut ‘The 604’. Patrick Topping’s vocal edit sees the same track laced with a MC-style US vocal, before Chicago house legend Paul Johnson gives the track a more melodic feel with his remix. DJ, producer and Unknown to the Unknown label-head DJ Haus then closes out proceedings with a deep, robotic remix that’s underpinned by a hypnotic acid bassline.
