I fell in love with 90's R&B when I was 9 years old. My mom used to play TLC, D'angelo, and Aaliyah in the house 24/7. Kiefer and I thought it would be fun to experiment recording to tape, so I decided to sing my favorite song by SWV.

I've always been a fan of Miss Jill Scott. I arranged one my favorite songs from her iconic debut album "Who Is Jill Scott?" released in 2000. It's been 20 years since the record dropped, but every track still feels timely and important. 

I played all the instruments and recorded vocals at home.

We must remember Breonna Taylor, Natasha McKenna, Riah Milton, Michelle Cusseaux, Dominique "Rem'mie" Fells, and so many others. We must protect, uplift, and honor our sisters. #SayHerName
