I Am The Bear is the stage name of British Folk Punk singer Billy Brown, from Devon, UK. He started making music and playing shows as a solo artist in 2018 and released his first single ‘COGS’ in spring 2019.  His music blends elements of Punk Rock, Modern Folk and Protest songs, with lyrics that mostly span political or emotional themes. His music is heavily centred on bringing change to the political and social norms. He takes influence from artists such as Frank Turner, Billy Bragg, Mike Burkett and Tony Sly amongst many others.
