Adrian Laguna is in Be One Records with Train EP and he is not alone. Javi Aviles, Gesus Lpz and Mr Jefferson collaborates with him. “The Train” is a highly compressed track with all the energy concentrated in the bass and kick. Be careful, it can explode in your desks. “This is Not Groove” is a massive tech-house track produced with Javi Aviles. Don’t trust the title, this is full of groove. Great voices and bass in it. Gesus Lpz and Mr Jeffereson sign the remixes. The first one with a dub minimal interpretation and the second with a tech-house bomb that makes the original track even better. Great quality in both productions.

Foremost international techno outlet Drumcode is delighted to announce the release of its next full-length album, ‘Satellite’, by enduring Italian techno talent Sam Paganini.

Though he has been active since the mid nineties, recent years have been hugely successful for Sam, with searing techno EPs coming on revered labels such as Riche Hawtin’s Plus8, Sven Vath’s Cocoon and of course, Adam Beyer’s Drumcode. In his time he has been responsible for underground hits like ‘Zoe’, ‘Polyester’ and ‘Fire In My Arms’, all of which demonstrate his dynamic understanding of sexy, dark and hypnotic techno grooves and at the same time have earned him plenty of great Beatport chart positions as well as respect from the best in the game.

Incredibly, ‘Satellite’ is Sam’s first full-length album. Informed by his DJ gigs at legendary places like Berghain in Berlin and Cielo in New York, the album starts with a dystopian bit of sonic scene setting, as if a space ship is charging up ready to take off.

From there it’s a case of getting straight down to business. ‘Another Chance’ is a spacey bit of cantering techno and ‘White’ is rooted in devastating kick drums and is riddled with serrated synth lines that build lots of great techno pressure. ‘Down’ is an undulating bit of funky techno complete with choice vocal flourishes and tracks like ‘Lotus’ are prime offerings from the deeper end of the scale.

No two tracks sound the same on Satellite: Sam is always teasing out a new bit of texture, nailing a slightly different vibe or exploring different amounts of light and dark throughout the course of this most excellent album. This is evidenced by diverse cuts like ‘Dusty’, ‘Toxic’ and ‘Rave’.

Despite ‘Satellite’ being Sam’s debut album, it showcases his seductive style in all its glory across 12 fantastic tracks that will leave you begging for more.

The original single came about during a very productive week for me. I made 5 songs in in 7 days right before one of the early DEMF festivals in Detroit. There was a great energy being shared by a lot of artists then, and I had just returned from a two week tour of Europe where I was ingesting so much new music. I sat down at my studio in Detroit and tried to recreate what I was hearing in the clubs. Mouth to Mouth was the stand out track of that session, and I made the entire thing in a few hours. I recorded it mostly live, tweaking and building the synths and muting/unmuting the channels in real time and just recording the result. I cleaned it up a little bit afterward, but left the length and overall arrangement intact. I remember playing it for a few people right away and it was clear something special was happening. There is something meditative in the simple repetition and slow build of it all. 

For this remix package, I chose every remixer. I went to my close friends, favourite remixers, and people I have always respected. There is such a diverse spread of talent with these artists, I knew every remix would be completely different. Each remix represents a different side of techno, which is where all of these artists come from. Everyone put a piece of themselves into this, and I'll forever be grateful to them for contributing to the project.

The true techno dream team of Dubfire & Oliver Huntemann revisit their Elements project from a few years ago with a new series of killer remixes. Terra - originally released in 2011, did all sorts of damage to dance-floors across the globe. Now, it’s all set to do it again thanks to this Joseph Capriati Remix. The Italian techno headliner has grown into a major force on the scene in recent years, and here delivers a signature slice of muscular, driving techno - taut, dramatic and devastating. Paired with a remix of the now seminal Feugo Julien Jeweil’s remix also hits the spot - the track received a 2016 overhaul with some of Jeweil’s signature flair. The Frenchman has been a constant figure on the top of various charts and line ups for some time, and its easy to see why - Fuego is stripped back machine funk primed for big systems and even bigger moments.

How can one musically capture the spirit of Ibiza? For decades now, countless amount of feet have been shifting weight to the sounds of monstrous sound systems and legendary DJs. Throughout the years, the island serves as the ultimate clubbing asylum: a place where electronic music defines culture and not the other way around.
Being a dominant player on the island and taking a lead role in shaping its musical development, Deeperfect is proud to present its annual, modest musical interpretation of Ibiza in a 22 tracks compilation, carefully selected by label talent Elio Riso. Within this collection, 6 tracks were selected from the label's recent work to represent the sound of Ibiza. 16 more are completely new, designed and produced specifically for this project. All tracks remain faithful to Deeperfect's unique sound: pounding Tech-House with crisp drums, decisive synths and tribal elements.
The last and 23rd piece of this puzzle is a powerful blend of all other 22 pieces: a continuous mix of all tracks by Elio Riso, demonstrating the application of these wonderful works on any dance floor, allowing the listeners soul a quick visit to Ibiza any time they are in need of an asylum.

The second volume in the "Cube To Play" is following the successful attempts of the first compilation in gathering the core elements that best define Deeperfect's sound signature and amplifying them in one EP. Cubes To Play Volume 2 is a carefully ear-picked release consisting not only of the elements that brought Deeperfect to its prominent position in the world of electronic music, but also on the recent developments in the label's work, partly revealing the direction that it's chief Stefano Noferini is taking it to.
Two of the seven tracks are a display of the label's Technoid elements: "Darkside" by Ruiz Sierra and Alessandro Grops, and "Move" by Veon are a demonstration of powerful kick designs escorted by dominant basslines and pads. Two other tracks, De La Maso and Marco Zorano's "Work", as well as Jesters' "Disco 6000" are giving the compilation the famous Deeperfect tribal touch.
"Never Forget" by Julien M. and "Conspiracy" by Luca Barbieri are perhaps a golden window into one of the label's possible future sounds: the basslines tell the story while remaining true to the minimalist choice of instruments.
Before wrapping it up, it is Luca Grossi's "Mokito" that is not forgetting to spice the compilation with some vocal elements.
All 'n All, Cubes To Play Volume 2 is yet another masterful DJ-toolbox designed to deliver all the elements necessary to get feet passionately moving on any dance floor!

October 2017 brings the next big release from Christian Smith, with his album project Synergy. Compiled of 12 original tracks, the album is a selection of collaborations he has produced on the road in studios in New York, Brazil, Tokyo, Germany, and Barcelona.
Tronic drip fed fans with two releases, first was Neon Jungle a groovy, vocal driven, funk inspired EP produced with house Legend Harry Romero, and the second a pummeling growler of an EP The Runner with Brazilian techno king Victor Ruiz. 
Christian brought together legends in the industry with John Selway and Harry Romero on this LP, along with current techno favorites Victor Ruiz and Wehbba, not forgetting some new stars on the rise with German artist 2pole and Drunken Kong, a duo from Tokyo taking the techno world by storm with their latest debut album released on Tronic earlier this year.
A special track to note is Jackin with John Selway. Christian and Johns bootleg Krispy Kranz taken from Laurent Garniers classic Crispy Bacon was a smash hit back in 2004, however, the duo has been collaborating together on endless projects since 2000 and have reunited especially for this trance inspired beat.
The album has something for everyone, variation is key here, with each track very different in its production and inspiration. Wehbba and Romero really bring some electro funkiness into the mix, whilst 2Pole and Victor Ruiz keep it dark with peak time, late night chugging techno. And finally, Drunken Kong deliver an industrial, minimal track throwing an unexpected but welcome addition to the 12 track innovative album.
