Decøder is a Techno artist based in Cape Town, South Africa. Producing a wide variety of genres for over a decade, he has now found his calling producing dark driving techno. Taking influence from his drum & bass past and merging it into a techno framework he has created his own sound within peak time techno. Driving basslines, hard stabs and euphoric arp sequences are the core elements found both in his productions and DJ sets. After a string of successful releases on local labels he has now stepped into the international realm by signing his latest two-tracks release to IAMT Red!
"Signal" is a heavy mid range arp focused track layered with big stabs and snares, produced to do damage on the dance floor with its endless drive and energy.
"Black & White" is the perfect balance between driving techno and melodic euphoria, with its catchy big saw bass riffs and its multi layered arp sequences in the breakdown.

Looking in front, I want to say that all my life I wanted to play music for others. Most of my closest people preferred Rock and even Heavy Metal .. BUT !!!!!!!
It so happened that I could not be reconfigured to something else and I plunged headlong into the world of electric music ... At the end of the 80s, Techno rhythms completely absorbed me and this could not be stopped. In the place where I was born and lived there was no Internet, everything was decided through the local audio recording studios on cassettes. The choice of genres was very meager and small, and then, with the advent of an audio recorder with a recording function, I began to look for sound sources and began to record everything that I heard on TV ...I could record tracks only by analogue signal, I recorded it via an Audio cable DIN-5, USSR standard, a stereo 5-pin cable ...In my school years in the 90s, I did not refuse to play at parties in honor of some kind of school holiday. At home, music was always playing .. I love the night and the dark genres of Techno ... I remain faithful to Techno music and its directions.My preference now is from Techno to DNB.My dream is to someday play for those who are keen on music, I want to share my favorite tracks. Unfortunately, there was never such an opportunity except school .. I love you to everyone who lives with music !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
