Always nice to expand the kraftek family of artists as we welcome German producer Shadym to the fold. 2 heavy tracks with instant floor appeal for those pockets around the world that will manage to be the first to welcome techno fans back with public events. Usually working within the hard techno genre, Shadym's reduced tempo here manages to maintain all the power of his harder productions within a more cosmic framework. Incredible EP from one of techno's rising stars.

January the 21st meet Joris Turenhout to deliver his two-tracks release to IAMT!

"The Last Dance" was made on the last day the Netherlands could party before restrictions came in again. Unfortunately I couldn't attend any party so I was restricted to stay home and I started producing right away. I tried to capture my emotions and feelings of that night into my track and all pieces felt immediately into place. I didn't have to think long about the name, "The Last Dance"  because that night it was the last dance for the whole of the Netherlands!

"Fragments of the Past" : I just wanted to create a banger which could fit in my DJ sets. Most of my tracks have a dry drop which has only kick, bass and some synths after the big break, so I wanted to challenge myself and create a track whereby the groove keeps going even after the drop.

Next up on Markantonio’s AnalyticTrail is a remix from Don Weber for Mha Iri’s hard hitting track Burn Steadily.

Mha Iri is definetly one of the artists that impress the Techno scene right now, known for her charismatic blend of high energy percussion shrouded in shadowy atmosphere. She has been releasing on other respected labels such as UMEK’s 1605, Orange Recordings, Respekt Recordings to name few.

Don Weber on the other hand never disappoints with his music on AnalyticTrail who’s become a familiar on the imprint, now with his remix which brought a new dimension of aggressiveness, power and explosive percussion to the track that made a huge success last year.

"Rescue Mission" I would say is a delicate and powerful piece. On the other hand "Gen Z" is a tougher, potent track. And finally "Inner Power" has some melodic touches that will give some extra textures to the journey."

February the 18th meet Jeremy Wahab to deliver his two-tracks release to IAMTRAW Series! 

"Juggernaut" is a much slower track however it still manages to bring that same unrelenting hard hitting raw techno sound into your set. Aside from the occasional white noise and fx the track is mostly percussive. Featuring a big hard booming kick, rim shots and snares with reverb and a hint of delay with some groovy hats and rides to complete the sound. As the title suggests, the track never lets up at all and keeps that energy going all the way from beginning to end. 


"Do You Wanna Dance" is a track inspired by early 90's techno. It features a hard dark driving kick that rumbles through out accompanied by hard hitting dark percussion, 303 stabs and that famous T99 stab all coming together at 145BPM bringing that hard hitting energy to the dance floor.

"The main Idea for the track came after I have made the groovy bass line which I was inspired by some older tracks of Beico. To all of my productions I like to include melodic elements, the arps and pads are the ones that bring the track from underneath the surface to shine. The track took a bit while, but at the end I managed to fit the main lead which carried the rest of the track to the very end"
