'Fresh from her Panorama Bar debut, Elisa Elisa releases this powerful duo of songs on the Girl I Got You EP.

In 2020, Elisa Elisa dropped her debut EP, Drum Love, which shot to Number 1 on Beatport’s Deep House chart. As a Franco-Algerian DJ and Producer, she often pays homage to the multiplicity of her background, infusing North African rhythms with her Protestant gospel heritage and her deep love for the electronic music scene. Now based in Berlin, Elisa Elisa is a passionate advocate for the power of music and dancefloors to nurture a sense of community.

The self-affirming anthem, Girl I Got You, leads with her own stunning vocal, which soars over cascading drumming rhythms. In her own words, “I raised my voice to celebrate that I will from now on and always be there for me. And I also want to share the message to everybody that it is possible to have your own back.” Ever left the rave and had a lingering melody playing in your brain? Elisa Elisa has captured that hypnotic hook and expanded it in Bassline In My Mind to create a thumping floorfiller.

Ramon Tapia returns to the label with a bang and this time it’s with a 2-tracker. Both tracks are totally different from one another but compliment each other brining the same power and signature sound inherent to the label boss 

First up is 'Strident' - a raw stripped down techno track that sends us instantly back to the 90’s. Rolling snares and a minimalistic approach gives the track an instant drive and in the combination with the strong and pulsating lead this track will put you on another level 

Second on the release is 'Bounce' - a funky track that will speak equally to techno and house heads. Playfully interpreted chords, vocal snippets and pushing hi-hats are carefully placed and give the track it’s distinctive groove

Germany's prolific Jayl Funk returns to Italy's Sound Exhibitions. "Get On Ya Feet" is served up in two mixes: the Original Mix will appeal to fans of "new old" funk and soul acts like the Dap Kings, Speedometer or Lack Of Afro, though there's a distinct house-y feel to the pianos too, while the Disco Edit beefs up the kicks and brings the piano and strings further to the fore, making it the better bet for dancefloor play in livelier spots. Completing the package is "Waiting For You", which has more of an R&B/pop feel thanks to its counterpointed sing-song female and rapped male vocals, but which is irresistibly catchy all the same.
