Romania is a semi-presidential republic in southeastern Europe. The country lies on the Black Sea and stretches westwards across the Carpathian Mountains to the Pannonian Plain. Romania borders on five countries: Bulgaria to the south, Serbia and Hungary to the west, and Ukraine and Moldova to the north and east.

The modern Romanian state was created in 1859 through the unification of the principalities of Moldavia and Wallachia to form the Principality of Romania. After the First World War, Transylvania was granted to the Kingdom of Romania, Bukovina and Banat to Austria-Hungary, Southern Dobruja to the Kingdom of Bulgaria, and Bessarabia to the Russian Empire. After World War II, Romania was part of the Warsaw Pact as a Socialist Republic during the Cold War. It was the only Warsaw Pact country to maintain continuous diplomatic relations with Israel. Since 1989, Romania has moved politically closer to Western European states and joined NATO (2004) and the European Union (2007).

With 238,397 km², Romania has the eighth largest area and, with around 19.05 million inhabitants, the sixth largest population of all member states of the European Union. The Romanian capital Bucharest is the eighth largest city in the European Union with 1.71 million inhabitants (as of 2021), just after Warsaw (1.86 million). Other important cities are Cluj-Napoca (Klausenburg), Timișoara (Temisoara), Iași (Jassy), Constanța (Konstanza), Craiova and Brașov (Kronstadt).

France is a democratic, intercontinental unitary state in Western Europe with overseas territories. Its territory is located on all continents except Asia.

Metropolitan France, i.e. the European part of the national territory, extends from the Mediterranean to the English Channel and the North Sea and from the Rhine to the Atlantic Ocean. Its mainland is called a hexagon because of its shape. France is the largest country in terms of area and the second largest country in terms of population (behind Germany) in the European Union. Emerging from the western part of the Frankish Empire, France expanded its cultural and military influence in Europe during the Middle Ages, mostly in rivalry with the Kingdom of England and the Holy Roman Empire, until France finally achieved a European leadership role in the 17th and 18th centuries held supremacy.

The political and cultural impact was significant: the court of Louis Development towards democracy interrupted by setbacks.

France twice built a colonial empire overseas. The first included, among other things: large parts of North America and was largely lost in the Seven Years' War in the mid-18th century; the second, centered in Africa, was the second largest in the world in the 19th and early 20th centuries. In the 21st century, France and Germany are seen as the driving force of European integration.

The French Republic is declared in its constitution to be indivisible, secular, democratic and social. Its principle is: “Government of the people, by the people and for the people.” The United Nations Development Program ranks France among the countries with very high levels of human development. In terms of nominal gross domestic product, it is the seventh largest economy in the world. The standard of living, level of education and life expectancy are considered high. As the most visited country in the world, France receives around 83 million foreign tourists per year.

The French armed forces are among the seven strongest in the world and were the third strongest in NATO in 2023, and the fifth strongest in 2024 after the USA, Great Britain, Turkey and Italy. The country is the only nuclear power in the European Union, one of the five permanent members of the UN Security Council and in 2010 had the third highest number of nuclear weapons in the world. It is a founding member of the European Union and the United Nations, a member of the Francophonie, the G7, the G20 , NATO, the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the Latin Union.

I Live My Life in Widening Circles

Playing with ideas.. mostly failing :)
I love listening to music, from the baroque era(love Bach, Vivaldi) and some traditional old music all the way to the music nowadays.

It's not how big the artist is, I'm listening to the song with no other expectations that finding a good musical story behind the music. 
Not a fan of progress and being different for the sake of it. 
I like when people try to revive and build on old ideas. I think it sometimes carries much bigger risks than trying new things and can go to interesting places..

Not a good instrument player,  but like to tinker with it..
