KALUCA Vi was the name of a little aluminum boat my parents owned at our lake house and the source of many happy childhood memories of fishing trips and afternoon outings on the gentle waves of the imposing Cocibolca Lake, Nicaragua. The name of this vessel derived from the first letters from my siblings names: KA(Karen)LU(Lourdes)Ca(Carlos - me)Vi(Violeta).
A sad epilogue, the boat was stolen by the Sandinistas after the 1979 Revolution from our property, never to be seen again.

Triskellion is my debut solo album, which was recorded over the last half of 2015 and completed on the first day 2016. many of these tracks are older songs of mine that were shelved for no particular reason, other than my timidness. here they are, finally. each track was recorded, produced, mixed and mastered, in the the magic room, by the talented Ian Weir. i am forever grateful for his undying patience, scope and love that he poured into this project. i hope the listeners enjoy this work as much as we do.

This is a collection of my original works ranging from orchestral soundtrack music,  various electronica, alternative alternative and world fusion. My main collaborator on vocals has been the beautiful Kelly Karst who sings on multiple tracks. I play the drums, percussion, synths, Baldwin Fun Machine,  Maschine, virtual instruments and sing.  I have always loved to take people on journeys into sound.  Please go on a musical mystical voyage with me through time space and tone.
