SoundCloud Hero Personal Introduction

The reason I create music is beyond my ability to explain. But If I try to dig into it, I think that my body and soul, been using music as a healing tool long before I can remember. I assume that my deep connection to music was born way before I was even aware of it. 
Over the years I have experienced life to its extreme, for the good and for the bad. Music has proven itself as a life saver, since it was the only way I could express my inner feelings and communicate with the world. When I finished my 3 years serving in the army, experiencing terrible fights and death, I felt that something got broken inside of me.
Music was there for me, even though I was not aware of the fact that I can actually use it to heal my soul.
In my music you can listen to all types of moods (love and happiness to the other side of pain and struggle. with pop, rock, reggae, electronic, experimental and even psychedelic and classical. 

I move between, instrumental music and song writing.

Yes, still doing collaborations when I can --- but, focus is on a brand new project right now. Release Date is September 16, 2014. I love good music.  I try to make good music. Love sharing it on here and meeting other talented artists.  I have an eclectic style, I love all genres and like to collaborate with all walks of life:).  My first EVER album was released on October 15, 2013.  I poured my heart and soul into it.  Each song has been written and produced by yours truly (w/ the exception of a few of the drum tracks donated by some of my SC friends and a rap features by my good friends Ben Z, Dash the Baptist, TheNamesMillen). I wanted to produce/mix it myself because I wanted my first album to be a true reflection of me and my current level of skill/ability in all areas (even if it shows my weaknesses).  To me, authenticity is key and so is challenging oneself.  I think you'll find something in there to connect to...at least that is my hope.  Thank you to everyone who has inspired/encouraged me on here, without you, I would have never grown to find my own voice and to go through the work of putting this album together. I am a married father of two, grandfather of four, fine arts graduate and polymath.

I had been asked to commit my songs to recording for the benefit of my offspring, and also I guess before I go completely deaf (Yes. I am one of the 1 in 7 severely deaf people in the UK) so begins this project. 

However, as I have gotten into it I realize that I have a lot of new stuff bursting out all the time, much of it inspired by you good people on Sound Cloud. 

Collaborating has been a revelation and I want to do more and as much as I can, so if you hear anything of mine you like and/or have any ideas about production etc just drop me a line anytime.

I would at some point like to work with someone to develop my own and hopefully your songs as an acoustic vocal duo so if you are geographically near and interested please get in touch.

Recordings were made first on a Boss Micro BR, then on an iMac running Garageband'11, inputting through a Behringer 1204 USB mixer and using a Rode NT2A for voice (Behringer C1 condenser mic for voice up to April 2013) and an AKG1000S for guitars. From January 2013 I have upgraded software to Logic pro 9. My weapon of choice is a Martin 00015M, with Martin SP Light's mostly recorded open though sometimes via Fishman Rare Earth Blend.

Well, they changed the site, no longer Classic soundcloud and it's hard to find others latest songs with dang reposts-also hardly anyone can see my new uploads and it sure shows with less song listens, and this will be the last time I give them a dime so when subscription ends will remove a bunch of songs (or find another site) casera.....oh well, I live in rural Minnesota and have been grateful to the internet to connect up with others involved in music and also doing some internet collaborations with other artists I have met online on different sites.I love listening to others creative music in many genre's, and it motivates me to continue to create as a hobby and share with others too.
