On the eve of his 16th birthday Eric’s dreams weren’t about racing his super dooper moped, nah, his were all about playing with, creating, and tweaking synths, rhythm boxes and other sound emitting devices. His bedroom turned into a sound lab… and soon it had become too small. That’s why he formed Escape Industry with two mates of his native Oupeye region in the early 90s. Riding the EBM wave, the trio went on to record a demo that caused quite the riot among the fans of that type of music. Alas, the original fire slowly started to die because of internal differences of musical opinion and eventually the band split up in 1999. Not one to be affected easily, Eric went on to start his own solo project called Evoid. Three CDs would be released independently in the period spanning between 2000 and 2004. It featured electronic music combining minimalism, a hint of melody and a fluff of big noise, most of the time not entirely according to the book but never devoid of caustic humour. This trilogy seemed to break grounds for another music direction which would leave more space for singing lines and the need to attract outside talent. Wham bang thank you ma’am; 2006 hit the calendars and Luc came into the picture. Another music geek who ruled the waves of the pirate stations back in the 80s. Luc quickly adjusted to Eric’s music and DI*ove was born. Their first achievement was « Haunting Me ».

Francesco Bianco, Alessandro Cicala

Half Scottish - half Italian guitarist and composer. Born in Perth (Scotland) in 1971 and raised in Rome (Italy). Studied philosophy at Sussex University (UK), where he decided to become a musician. Went back to Italy to teach electric guitar and formed a band called Individual Choice. After gigging around Italy the band recorded the cd Make Your Choice which is available from Itunes. Ian is currently living in Den Haag, composing, teaching guitar and working on his latest project Jazz House FX.

Toby Wiltshire is a composer, saxophonist and sound artist working in Leeds, whose output encompasses a diverse array of interests including audio-visual installations, ambient, electronic, experimental and film music, field recordings and multi-channel sonic art pieces. He completed a Masters in composition at Leeds College of Music which included a life-changing year working one to one with David Toop. Toby was awarded a distinction and the Conservatoire Prize for Masters.
