Deep & Dope ♪ Fugenn & The White Elephants and beat maker Tooson, Fugenn & The White Elephants, launched in late 2020 Fugenn & Tooson. An excellent work with an impressive view of the world as if it were drawn!
The first listening place of this work that enters from the introduction of “Metropolis” and “Capital Pain” will be the flow of four songs M3 to M6.
M3 "Rivary" with impressive vocals echoing in an approaching vortex of sounds, M4 "Pretense" with vocals spun to the cool beats of Ukikan, M5 "Arcadia" where you can feel the lyricism typical of Fugenn, The first half of the album is scented with M6 "Nothingness", which has a beautiful piano melody and vocals.
And the second half is concentrated in M8 to M10.
M8 "Comfort", which leads from a moody intro to an authentic song, M9 "Grieving", a dope and cool track with vocals reminiscent of reggae for a moment. M10 "Daybreak", and the album "AFTER URBANIZATION" closes this story with M11 "Dive Into The City".
After URBANIZATION, which is said to be "intended for the splendor of the urbanized city afterward, the emptiness and melancholy of living together, and the drama", I would like you to experience the sound world.

「Metropolis」「Capital Pain」という導入から入る本作の最初の聴き所は先ずはM3～M6の4曲の流れであろう。
迫り来る音の渦に木霊するボーカルが印象的なM3「Rivary」、浮遊館あるクールなビーツに滔々と紡がれるボーカルのM4「Pretense」、Fugennらしい叙情性も感じ取る事が出来るM5「Arcadia」、ピアノの旋律が美しいボーカルと絡むM6「Nothingness」とアルバムの前半を香り付ける。
そして後半はM8～M10に集約される。
ムーディーなイントロからオーセンティックな歌曲へと帰結するM8「Comfort」、ドープでクールなトラックに一瞬レゲエを彷彿されるボーカルが印象深いM9「Grieving」、ギターとボーカルやベースなどが渾然一体となって郷愁感を漂わせるM10「Daybreak」、そしてアルバム『AFTER  URBANIZATION』はM11「Dive Into The City」で本ストーリーを閉じる。
「都会化された街のその後の華やかさと、同居する虚無や哀愁、ドラマを意図した」というAFTER  URBANIZATION、是非その音世界を体感して欲しい。

Fugenn & The White Elephantsとしては2022年3月に8thアルバム『Re:Earth』をPROGRESSIVE FOrMより、また6月にMurder ChannelよりEP『Flash Noize』をリリースしている。 
そして2022年10月、Fugenn & Toosonとしての9thアルバム『AFTER  URBANIZATION』をリリースする。

We are thrilled to announce the re-release of Rico Toto’s 1993 CD recording Fwa Épi Sajès. Mind melting synthesizers and drum machines fuse with ancient Guadeloupe Gwo-ka rhythms in this musical endeavour Rico Toto describes as “Electro-ka.” The improvised live instruments of the Moundjahka ensemble meld with electronic abstraction to create a psychedelic, immersive digital diaspora dream state. With nods to Jon Hassell's atmospheric soundscapes, YMO and Baldelli / TBC Cosmic mixtapes, this selection of songs encompasses an entire spectrum of moods and sounds. 

The A side begins with fourth-world tropical percussions, opening with sounds of nature in “Jungle Meditation” and leading into the downtempo summer synthpop jam “Yadadé.” The B side takes a darker turn, starting off with the deep chugging rhythms of “Rawal Pindi” and continuing even deeper with synth sounds and haunting vocals that culminates into the dreamy meditative final track, “Golgotha.”

Greek synthesist Bakis Sirros who records under the name of Parallel Worlds has become a familiar name to followers of the DiN label. His debut release was “Obsessive Surrealism” (DiN26) back in 2007 and since then he has released a further solo album, “Shade” (DiN32), as well as several collaborative albums with different artists including DiN label boss Ian Boddy & Node guru Dave Bessell.

“Plector” (DiN76) is his third solo outing on the DiN imprint and continues the deep dive into organic, analogue modular excursions that this talented musician is so adept at. Throbbing, deep bass lines are accompanied by sparse drum patterns and beguiling melodic synth lines. The album has a beautifully cohesive, dark and brooding atmosphere. Hints of a John Carpenter like synth soundtrack lurk around every corner but the sound world that Sirros creates is very much his own. At times the raw beauty of his synth patches grab you whilst at other moments the delicate, glitch like sound design details hover just out of sight. The album is built upon two groups of three rhythmic tracks interspersed with the dark drone of “Atmoform” and the beautiful, almost Enoesque final track, “Harmonic Pathways”.

Lovers of Electronica, Dark Techno, Downtempo & IDM will find much to admire in “Plector” and this new album once again showcases the unique talent of this highly individual musician.

This is the Deluxe Version re-issue of Inspired Flight's fan-favorite indie-electronic-hip-hop debut album, We All Want To Fly.  Originally released in 2010 to much acclaim on the underground scene, this deluxe re-issue includes a Disc 2 of the whole album as instrumentals, and a Disc 3 of all new music consisting of 3 never-released original songs made back then that weren't included on the album, various new remixes of some of the songs, plus a few funny studio outtakes and improvs from the tracking of the original album.

This "Disc 1" is just a re-issue of the original album, same as the one from 2010.

End of Time | Fear no more the heat o’ the sun

This is the vocal edit of Spirit Project - Inner Spirit (Vocal Mix). Inspired by my love of bands like Pink Floyd and various other inspiring artists.

Ian Boddy has been at the forefront of the UK electronic music scene since 1983 when he both performed at the very first UK Electronica Festival in Milton Keynes and released his first vinyl album The Climb.

In the 4 years preceding this event he had been experimenting at an Arts Council funded studio in Newcastle whilst at University. His early work resulted in 3 cassette only releases on the Mirage label as well as several local concerts. These early tapes showed Boddy gradually forming his own style through a long self teaching process in the techniques of analogue synthesis and tape manipulation.

After the success of 1983 he went on to release another 2 vinyl albums, Spirits and Phoenix, as well as performing several concerts throughout the UK. However it wasn't until 1989 that his first CD release, Odyssey, came out on the EM label Surreal to Real. After Drive, his second release on the Surreal label Boddy formed his own record label, Something Else Records , through which he released a further 4 solo albums as well as reissuing his 3 early vinyl albums and the cassette only release Jade on CD. Furthermore he released three collaborative CD releases with some of Europes finest exponents of EM, namely Andy Pickford, Ron Boots and Mark Shreeve.

He continued to expand his concert appearences which have now surpassed over 100 events with concerts in the UK ( including several more UK Electronica appearances, two shows at the Jodrell Bank Planetarium & two at the National Space Centre), Holland ( five festival appearances ), Germany and three shows in Philadelphia, USA.

Alongside these mainstream EM activities Boddy has also built for himself a formidable reputuation as a sound designer having produced a series of sample CD's & virtual instruments for sampling specialists Time & Space. In late 2008 Boddy set up his own downloadable sample CD company with the Waveforms series of sample packs. Furthermore he is also involved in library music having composed 11 such CD's for the publishing company deWolfe as well as producing some music for a computer games company.

Thus we come up to the present with the formation of his DiN label in 1999. Unlike his private Something Else Records the DiN label was set up to allow Boddy to actively form different collaborations with a wide variety of musicians as well as release other artists music. DiN has achieved widespread critical acclaim for it's adventurous outlook at the world of EM and has seen 39 releases with Boddy being involved in 21 of these ( five solo and sixteen collaborative projects ). 

In 2008 DiN expanded it's catalogue with a series of download only releases featuring Boddy in concert both as a solo performer and with other DiN artists.
