This time, Hekwapi brings you KAZA aka Thanasis Kazanidis, a Greek artist with lots of experience in the music scene (professional darbuka artist) and with a lot of passion to taste and cook new things. After many years of experiences he realised that creating something on his own is what he wants the most. And here we are. The project under the name KaZa is one of these experiments. An artist with a unique perspective on Psytrance music, trying to give a fresh taste by combining styles like Jungle, Forest and Space Night and create his own path to the Psy scene. This is an exclusive mix that contains KaZa's unreleased new tracks and best tracks, as he says.

It is finally time to release my second album: Mio (along with a long ramble about it)

This has been an incredible journey to make over the last two years and I am overjoyed to share it with you. Each track was made with intention and purpose both musically and personally to create a Psytrance album that is designed to be listened to from start to finish – as well as work individually on dancefloors. Over the coming weeks, after release, I will take you all through each track and its meaning and creation.

I streamed the writing of all these tracks on Twitch as I strongly believe that music is meant to be a shared experience and build community. It was amazing to let everybody into the process and to have their live feedback and share knowledge between all of us.

Part of what makes music so much fun for me is the learning and the challenge to push myself and push the music. I wanted to do that with this album and tried to use unique methods of sound design in each track with a clear concept of the track before even starting – part of this challenge was to not use FM at all throughout the whole thing.

The album is named Mio for my young Nephew whom I adore. It was meant to be released on his 4th birthday, but due to distributor-based-boring-administrative reasons got delayed by a couple of weeks. He is moving further away from me and this felt like a great opportunity to toast him!

I have had the BEST time making this album and have loved seeing people’s reactions on the dancefloor to it so thank you all and I really hope that you enjoy it and understand the intentions behind it.

Act One - Mio (Full album mix)

Francesca a.k.a Psykia, is an eclectic DJ and Producer from the underground music scene, her first contact with music was at the age of six when she started learning violin.

She studied classical music throughout her adolescence but at the same time was introduced to electronic music, thanks to her brother DJ Sword, a great collector of trance and techno vinyls from their very beginnings.
Initially she was intrigued by ambient, electro,techno and trip hop sonorities, later she discovered the psychedelic trance sound and became involved in the psychedelic culture, she wanted to go deeper into it and went to study Electronic Music Production at Rome’s “University of Music” and left 2 years later with a Diploma.

In 2006 she earned a study grant and went to Goa to write an anthropological research on the Goa trance movement for the University La Sapienza in Rome, after writing a brilliant thesys she then published a book whose title is “Trancefloor: an Ethnographic Research on the Soundscapes of Dancing Souls.”

After spending few months in Goa later in 2008, she had the chance to play her first set on the beautiful location of Anjuna Beach, that's when she began her journey as DJ exploring all the nuances of forest/dark/psytrance but also progressive, techno and chillout.

Psykia has been djing around the world for many years now, she has also started making her own sounds lately and realeased tracks for Lycantrop Records and Forestdelic Records.

She is currently based in London but she never stops travelling all over the world and playing at major parties and festivals alongside the biggest names on the international psy-trance scene; she played at massive events in Uk, also many gigs in India and Spain  where she was based for a while and where now she goes back to play almost every year, she has been playing almost everywhere in Europe, she also worked as Stage Manager at Wao Festival and Black Moon Festival, in 2014 she joined Vantara Vichitra Records(India), in Feb. 2015 she went on a India tour, in March 2015 she joined Milega Records (Japan) and in 2016 she went again on a India tour supported by her 2 indian labels Vantara Vichitra and Temple Twister.

Now she is back in Europe getting ready for the summer season and she just joined Banyan Record, one of the best forest labels in Europe ..

YEBAH is the latest project from Portuguese psychedelic trance producer Miguel Ferro, a lifelong electronic music enthusiast. A professional engineer, Miguel began producing music in 2003 to craft drum beats for his lyrics, eventually diving into the darkpsy and hitech scenes by 2009.  In 2018, he launched Yebah—a nature-inspired project blending organic sounds, deep atmospheres, and psychedelic textures into immersive sonic journeys. From intimate gatherings to major festivals like Boom, Modem, and Shankra, his music has become part of the global psytrance landscape.  For Miguel, “Yebah” stands for pure joy—a mission to radiate energy through every psychedelic soundscape he creates. This set features his latest album of collaborations with Sangoma labelmates, along with some of his personal favorites.
