Heavy hitter Maksim Dark joins the Bassic Records family with ‘Never Look Down’. An immeasurable enormity embodies the energies of this release, delving deep into the fathoms of techno. Gearing up with the grinding Maksim style, his gnarly sound design and distinctive production set the bar high for what follows. Then Brazil born, Melbourne based Gabriel Moraes takes the reins with a certified banger. Melbourne’s EEEMUS draws a dynamic interpretation “with teeth” - a brain scratching piece fitted with an extraordinary unexpected breakdown. The release’s second Australian native Käse Kochen conjures a powerful composition with staunch dancefloor directed components. Closing the release is Russia’s Auturo, presenting sinister atmospheres in fearsome deep tones.
