佬SKAI ISYOURGOD - 八方來財 [INDESCREET EDIT]

Senso Sounds is Oliver Huntemann's label for underground dance music, based out of Hamburg and already racking up an enviable back catalogue of releases. Kickstarting a new series of EPs with new exclusive tracks from different artists, Senso Sounds Level 01 dives right into the thick of it with four brand new killer tracks from the roster.

First up is the man himself Oliver Huntemann, dropping 'Kamikaze' for our listening pleasure. Techy and funky, the track builds and builds over seven and a half minutes - a driving groove pro- pelled by urgent drums, a swirling bassline and a think, mutating synth line. A suitably epic way to kick off the series.

Next up, Brazilian techno don Victor Ruiz teams up with danish Noir for 'I Am' - a pulsating, heady slice of techno for the floor with conjuring vocals by Cari Golden.

Venetian veteran Veerus provides 'Mind Awake, Body Asleep' - a hymn to the techno lifestyle wrapped in a dark and punishing groove. 

Rounding off the EP is Julian Wassermann with 'Neurose' - the much-rated German producer staying on message with another deep, growling tech bomb for the early hours.

Sandokan’s remix is an active and happy interpretation of the original tune, all the original elements are in play here with energy levels set to maximum.
EEEMUS makes his re appearance with us a after half a year with an aptly named Panic Room remix that includes drama, immaculate synth programming and no hi hats.
Original version of On Hold is added for those that might have missed it.

This all-round legend has definitely stepped up his game since Folie, our last release and initial inception with him a few years ago. He now resides in Melbourne and has been making waves across our country - bringing his signature sound and heavy, admirable Brazilian influence to our shores.

His EP opens with the title track Submission, starting only as a workflow experiment and coincidentally resulting in a 6 minute dance floor banger.

This track flows with the rolling bass before the entangled synth takes control and breaks down into something from out of this world… “almost unbearable to maintain, like a rollercoaster with its ups and downs. “

Gabriel then drives it home with the layered textures and breakbeat groove before the final drop, “almost like a phoenix that comes back from the ashes better than it was before it passed.”

Step Out, the B-side - does exactly that - stands up and steps out. This track is packed with a consistent pace and infectious energy from the get go. “A hypnotic vibrant track with a continuous melody that drives the track forward.

The last break is another experiment with programming synthesisers to talk to each other like a conversation, at some point they almost sound like voices processed with vocoders.

We are both very excited and honoured to have the brother Gabriel back on board for this release with us.
