I've just returned from an exhausting 5 city tour of South America!  All the shows were absolutely incredible and the best part of all was I got to meet some of you listeners at my gigs.  Today's mix is really special because it's recorded live from Carl Cox's Playground stage at Burning Man.  It was my first time ever attending and I can honestly say that I've never experienced anything quite like it!

Then in hour two I welcome Phil Martyn for his first appearance on the program.  He's already a familiar name in the industry working behind the scenes as Paul Oakenfold's A&R for Perfecto Black.  He previously received a lot of attention under his Philthy Chit alias with a long list of supporters that included Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold, Paul van Dyk, Danny Tenaglia, Max Graham, amongst many others.  More recently he's adopted the Phil Martyn name as a way to showcase his diversity and love for deeper progressive sounds.

Producer, musician, dj, photographer, eclectic italian artist Brando Lupi blends a unique style of hypontic techno with deep haunting melodies and visionary sound-scapes: his influences range from industrial-rock to experimental electronica to modern classical.. The Italian native has had a history working alongside a number of talented artists.
He's the owner of the label Detune Records,founded in 2000.
Brando’s releases have been picked up by the likes of Orange Groove , Kompakt , Samuvar , Dewtone Recordings , Mental Groove , Detune Records and Elettronica Romana. He has composed a score for the movie “La Solitudine Dei Numeri Primi”, distributed by Medusa,with the soundtrack signed by Mike Patton ,leader of Faith No More,and presented at the 67th Venice Film Festival. He currently resides in Rome, spreading experimental spiritual frequencies across the world.

Argentinian DJ and producer @shittechno delivers his ‘Solo En La Pista’ EP on Seattle’s @BottomForty Records this June, accompanied by remixes from Ali X x Ximena and Fausto.

A renowned event series and DJ collective formed in Seattle, comprising of artists Nark, Pavone, Sappho and Hyasynth, Bottom Forty has rapidly established itself as one of the cities key names within underground dance music through their carefully curated, fully inclusive warehouse events and forward thinking parties. Having released their fifth EP on the newly formed label in mid-2017, here we see the imprints first release of 2018 delivered by Buenos Aires raised producer Nicholas Larransio, aka SHIT, in the process welcoming the first EP in a series set to focus on unearthing and showcasing the ever developing sounds of South America, with remixes courtesy of Mexican talents Ali X & Ximena, and fellow countryman Fuasto.

‘Elle Quiere Ser Raro’ takes things into darker territories, with a hypnotic and entrancing lead synth guiding programmed 909 drum shots and eerie chants throughout, unveiling a production made for hazy, early morning dance floors.

Sonic Sense is Israeli producer Igal Yakubov.  Igal was born in 1987 in the Russian Federation, he and his family moved to Israel when Igal was 5 years old. At the very young age of 13 he first listened to psy trance and loved it. Igal has started to produce trance music and DJ at events in 2008, under the name Vocal Designer.

Igal has met Tal Auday during 2010 and began a collaboration which resulted in Timeless - a project which has produced several chart topping releases and EPs for many leading trance labels such as Digital Nature, Iono Music, Synergetic, Amplitudes and more.

In 2012, due to musical differences Igal has decided to go solo with his musical direction and began the Sonic Sense project, which has thus far produced several chart topping releases. Igal is now hard in the studio working on new explosive trqacks and an album for 2013.
