Heute begrüßen wir den Label-Head Giancarlo Di Chiara von Music4Aliens bei uns.
Im Jahr 2002 begann Giancarlo seine musikalische Reise. Unter dem Pseudonym „DJ Pin“ trat er innerhalb der elektronischen Szene schnell hervor und spielte in mehreren italienischen Clubs an der Seite von großen Künstlern, wie Tony Humphries, Marshall Jefferson und Stefano Noferini, um nur einige zu nennen. 
Im Jahr 2004 bis 2016 machte Giancarlo eine Pause vom Auflegen. Bei seinem Comeback 2016 startete er parallel sogleich mit dem Produzieren. Zwei Jahre darauf widmete er sich zunächst dem Ausbau seines Plattenlabels "Music4Aliens" aber auch weiterhin der Musikproduktion, was ihm vor allem im vergangenen Jahr diverse Platzierungen in den Beatport-Charts bescherte. Sein aktuellstes Projekt: AKA the Alien, wird von Künstlern wie Richie Hawtin und PETDuo unterstützt. Wir bedanken uns herzlich für das Set und wünschen ihm alles Beste weiterhin.

Today we welcome labelhead Giancarlo DI Chiara from Music4Aliens.
In 2002, Giancarlo Di Chiara began his musical journey. Going by the alias, DJ Pin, he quickly emerged into the Electronic scene, delivering strong Deep Techno rolling baselines in several Italian clubs along side big names such as Tony Humphries, Marshall Jefferson and Stefano Noferini to name a few, as well as many more of the pioneering Dj’s that were setting the stage at the time,
In 2004, Giancarlo Di Chiara, took a break off the decks until 2016 , when he start to mix again, and begin to learn music production as well. 
Health problems stopped him again after not even two years, so he devoted himself mainly to his record label Music4Aliens, and to music production as well, which led him to obtain various placements in the Beatport charts, especially in the past year. Last project: AKA the Alien, for faster techno, side project supported by Richie Hawtin and PETDuo to name a few. We would like to thank him for the set and wish him all the best for the future.

This is the 2nd and last set I prepared for AfrikaBurn '24.  The journey of this set has less peaks and toughs, and more driving from start to finish.  It starts a bit lighter and energetic, goes into some deep bass bangers, comes out the other side with some consistent driving psychedelic goodness, dips into deep base towards the end, and culminates on an absolute gem of a track.
