Bad Wolf - Abismal (Alvee Remix) [Controlla]

The fifth release from Beaufort Beats marks the return of Prosdo. Having already made his debut on the label late last year with his Black Mamba EP, Decim808 boasts five tracks showcasing the Italian techno maestro’s versatility and musical prowess. The lead track on the EP bounces with a thick off beat bass and Prosdo’s own concoction of vocals and quirky FX, perfect for the club. Jack Duzza is next in line on the EP and is reminiscent of Prosdo’s past styles, yet demonstrating his current skills and production quality. Falling into the realm of minimal techno this driving track uses a rhythmical bassline to add pace and tension, and is named after a certain legend close to the Beaufort syndicate. Arpreciation is a blend of Prosdo’s ability to keep simple things interesting. One lead line sounds throughout the entire track and Prosdo uses modulation and his own drum sequencing techniques to keep the listener tuned in from start to finish. The remainder of the EP in 010010010 and Ah Sid, How So take a moment away from the party, still providing grooves to sway to, but written for the ear more than the dance floor.

Prosdo - Decim808

Our fourth release is a two track EP from label head Rob Lewis. The lead track Vanity is recognisable by the gritty, irregular acid line that sticks out from the heavy, underlying kick and bass, with the track slowly winding to a savage final drop. The second track on the EP is simply described by its name. Leaving all groove and mysticism to its preceder, Jawbreaker is about impact. A short, sharp lead line brings pace to the track and with reversed drums and harsh cymbals this one is for the late night clubber.

Rob Lewis - Vanity

"Mario Zetter Celorio aka Zetter is one of the driving forces behind the famous Esto Es Tulum Festival in Mexico. He began his career in 1988. In his first years Mario was influenced by new beat, acid house & industrial techno and performed under the underground alias Plastiko, as pioneer and resident dj in the best clubs all over Mexico. During all these years he has build up an impressive experience and musical knowledge. Nowadays he is member of the "TRECEVEINTE (13:20)" project which he founded in 2018. TRECEVEINTE is a Live Ethnic & Electronica fusion band consisting of Mario Zetter himself together with Victor Ortiz (The Note V) and Osiris Heyerdahl. They are the resident artists of the Esto Es Tulum Festival in Mexico. TRECEVEINTE means the number of the natural frequency of the time in which life operates in a harmonic and synchronized way. The Mayan culture had its own formulation of time based on 13 galactic tones and 20 frequencies. Based on this concept and with the the help of electronic music, TRECEVEINTE wants to represent rhythms of this pre hispanic culture all over the word performing at international clubs & festivals in Amsterdam, Spain/Ibiza, Colombia, Chili, USA,...

On his "De Javu EP" Zetter presents us 3 fantastic original afro house tracks, each unique in their own way. For each original we added a remix. Title track "De Javu" is remixed by our own label manager Pedro Mercado together with his female studio/dj partner Na Te from Ibiza Global Radio."
