We are super excited to present the 83rd podcast featuring an hour of old school techno grooves from vinyl wizard Kyly!

Kyly is a lover of the 2000's tribal sound. Anything with bongos, loose percussion & tribe vocals will surely fit his record bag as he believes this sound is made for the hottest dance floors. Not a fan of the popular hard & dark rave techno he hopes to bring back color & joyfulness with his DJ'ing.

SEVEN is proud to release their second Various Artists compilation on a double 12” clear Vinyl and a cassette. Again introducing 7 new artists to the label including a production debut by Carmen Electro who releases her first ever track and music from Berghain / Panorama bar regulars like Zombies in Miami and Pink Concrete. This VA dives into the many facettes in between house and techno. 

Bringing some vintage heat to the VA, LA-based 1morning drops “Like a Funk Machine”. As the name suggests, this one leans into classic funk elements: organs, piano, shakers, and quirky synth chops riding a driving, crunchy low end. It sounds and feels old-school for a reason.

Raised between Western values and traditional Asian culture, TWIENA found her power by embracing both. Now based in Amsterdam, she’s shaking up the scene with a bold perspective and high-voltage energy. Her sets fuse rolling low-end grooves with raw rave power—blending 4x4 techno, uplifting melodies, and emotional intensity into moments that leave a mark.

TWIENA’s sound blurs the lines between industrial techno, ghetto grooves, trance textures, and global club influences—from the UK to Detroit to South America.

This mix is all about playful experimentation. Or as she puts it: riding a horse on speed.

De Reünie Mix Series 005: TWIENA

From Berlin’s underground, CRYME blends the drive of techno with the warmth and joy of house. Friends describe him as “a master of rhythm who plays CDJs like a musical instrument.” A DJ, producer and founder of the House meets Techno label SEVEN, his fast-paced sets build a happy, love-filled dance floor with high energy and big smiles.

Producing since 2022, he has released six EPs and contributed to the Pornceptual 10th anniversary VA. In 2024 he launched SEVEN, releasing uplifting, progressive and minimal house from a roster leaning towards Queer and FLINTA* artists. He is a resident at De Reünie and Pornceptual, and has played for The Third Room, Gotec, Boiler Room, WHOLE Festival and Basement New York. He has toured Asia three times, performing in China, Japan, Taiwan and Korea, made his South Africa debut, and has supported Cinthie, Honey Dijon and Palms Trax.

This mix was recorded at home in Berlin on a rare sunny afternoon. It reflects some of his favourite new and old tracks and is dedicated to his De Reünie family and friends in Amsterdam. For this set he focused on deeper, stripped-back minimal dub and deep house — perfect for a relaxed afternoon with friends, headphones in a coffee shop, a long flight, or a lazy day in the park.
