Well... Since you guys liked my 1:1 remake of the unreleased 'Panic' remix originally by Druid & Hixxy (originally originally by Force Mass Motion) I thought, what about if I could take that concept further? What if there was something like a fantasy football for remixes? Where you could take a given track and get it remixed in the style of your favorite artist in your favorite era of theirs? Just a thought... and a proof of concept :)

My friend Adam Virus showed me a little-known label with a lot of talent called Waffle Records. They're unique in the sense that they sound like they're straight out of the mid-late 90s! Believe it or not, every single one of these songs were released in 2015 or later. I'm glad there are a few artists still keeping that happy vibe alive :)

This mix is off the cuff, meaning I just kind of made it up as I went, so it won't be up to my normal mixing standard. Either way, I had a ton of fun with it and feel like I should share these great tunes with you. Check out these links:

The Sounds of Waffle Records

This is my band's self-titled debut album.  It was written, recorded, produced and mixed by Jon Markson and myself in various basements and bedrooms over a period of 2 years.  Just about all of these songs has a pretty interesting background about which I would go on and on and on but I'm currently typing with a gimp pointer finger so I'm keeping this blurb short.
