Lo Stine is a DJ and producer whose path into music began in the world of experimental horror audio demos - where tension, distortion, and raw emotion shaped their creative instincts. That early exploration naturally led to DJing, a space where they could channel chaos into sound and craft immersive, unpredictable narratives. Lo Stine moves fluidly between underground techno, indie dance, and cinematic soundscapes, always seeking the balance between tension and release.

For this set, The Wipeout, Lo Stine draws inspiration from the ocean’s relentless force, an experience shaped during a surf trip in Mexico under the full moon and a powerful eclipse. What began as a smooth ride quickly turned turbulent—a cracked display, a brutal sunburn, and moments of uncertainty. But with the help of their friend and fellow producer Nebraska, they found a way to push through, much like in music, where chaos and recovery collide.

The mix reflects that journey—hypnotic and driving, shifting between eerie, atmospheric depths and high-intensity surges. Like being caught in a wipeout, the energy builds, crashes, and resurfaces in waves, carrying the listener through a sonic experience that mirrors the unpredictable, untamed power of nature.

HÖR Berlin -Lo Stine

Me and Ben thought it would be fun to play a long DJ set together at Globus, the upstairs floor at Tresor in Berlin. 
We last played together (as Frequency 7) in May 2013. This time we played a ‘back to back’ DJ set, I’m pretty sure playing 2 tracks each for the whole six and a half hour set. All we had in mind beforehand was to start with some Dub and ‘see where it goes’. 

It was a lot of fun so we wanted to share the recording with you.

The series are back after some much needed vacay and next one up is Petra Yelda, an interersting artist who we got familiar with in Gothenburg just some time ago. 
In a dark and sweaty warehouse we were lucky to catch her playing, she gave us this knockout closing set, the one where you cannat stop danceing not even for toilet breaky. She created this magical, explosive vibe and the closing included everything one wish for; the selection of tracks, flow and dynamic mixing and the connection with the floor, it was gold!
We are therefore very happy and proud to present her mix in the series!

Bio:
Petra Yelda is a Swedish techno DJ and producer with roots from Middle East. By experiencing dancefloors across Europe, she quickly grew a deeper music interest. With a distinctive style that blends driving hypnotic rhythms, Petra has earned respect locally and has made a name for herself within the underground scene in Gothenburg.

Her artistic journey began as a DJ in underground clubs in Gothenburg, where she co-founded collectives such as Nycto and later Xtnd’d/Razor.

This year has led her to take further steps in Europe by playing in Denmark, Germany and Italy. She has landed a residency at the respected record label OECUS and is also resident for Gothenburg collective STRECK.
