Improvisation In Rememberance Of Jóhann Jóhannsson

Sonni on piano and Sophie on two accompanying tracks.Sophie is a student of mine. There are several other pieces of music in my tracks list that she either wrote and played herself or she added tracks to something I recorded. We  have spent the last 2-3 years working on her ability to play improv. Hearing where the music is going and sensing how to play with it. I am very proud of her progress. She is developing a sensitive, emotional touch to her music to bring out the feeling. She is currently 12 years old

Refuge

An instrumental Inspired by a visit to Iceland, the land of fire and ice.     Main instrumentation is classical guitar with orchestral instrumentation in the backing throughout, building as it progresses.
