Midcaps outperformed the benchmark with a 0.4% gain for the week despite global volatility leading to a 1% decline in Nifty. From a global context, Indian equities have relatively outperformed US indices which are down around 3%. Industrial commodities like Aluminium, Copper are down around 2%-3% during the week, while Aluminium is down 7% over the past month.
