Cita Previa is a techno track that delves into the surreal and exasperating world of Spanish bureaucracy. Inspired by the absurd experience of needing an appointment in order to get an appointment, the track transforms this paradox into a sound narrative loaded with irony.

The mechanical sounds of typewriters and paper become the textural foundation of the track: an auditory representation of the cold, impersonal atmosphere of an office. A robotic female voice detachedly repeats: “To request an appointment, you must already have an appointment,” encapsulating the circular logic and Kafkaesque frustration of the system.

Musically, the track is a conflict. Distorted, aggressive kicks explode with rhythmic rage, while ethereal pads attempt to soothe, offering fleeting moments of calm that are quickly overshadowed by an almost annoying, repetitive melody. This call-and-response dialogue creates constant tension, reflecting the emotional rollercoaster of anger, confusion, and resignation.

Cita Previa is not just a track: it’s a techno manifesto about the absurd reality of bureaucracy, where paperwork becomes rhythm, and frustration becomes sound.

Para Picar is a techno feast for the imagination, a menu of impossibilities where the absurd becomes intimate. Voices recite Catalan dishes gone surreal — aguacate plástico, filete biodegradable, memoria confitada — blending irony with curiosity, humor with unease.

It’s Kafka in the kitchen, Beckett at the table: familiar routines warped into strange rituals, where consumption is both literal and metaphorical. Pulsing beats and shifting textures carry the voice, slowing, twisting, and transforming it into something at once robotic and human, a reflection on the absurdity of our modern appetite.

This track is an invitation: to listen, to taste, to wonder, and to recognize the humor and melancholy in the everyday. Para Picar asks — what do we digest? What do we leave behind?

She is the founder of iciclet_lab, a space for experimentation, collaboration, and artistic risk. Whether directing a movement-driven film, composing a heavy techno set, or capturing the stillness of a gesture through the lens, iciclet builds experiences that are felt as much as seen. 

Her visual work is rooted in the body — physical, choreographed, architectural. Her sound practice is equally tactile, using techno as structure, emotion, and momentum. Together, these forms converge into performances and installations that pulse with intensity and intention. 

Currently, iciclet is developing a new project merging dressmaking, techno, and film — a deep dive into transformation, materiality, and the politics of presence.
