Writing not just as spectators but as individuals living in the landscape of 21st Century Britain, Hallan are a Portsmouth based four-piece with a tongue that won't be bit. Taking observational influence from everyday culture and the British isle itself, the band create material replete with honesty, humility and integrity. With music that refuses to be stagnant in style and lyrics filled with scathing wit and humour, Hallan are a band on everyone's radar.

Integrity Records was founded in 1994 in a small office in Bedford, England. After early releases from Cambridge indie-boys The Traceys, the label became notable for signing bands such as Miss Black America, Plutonik and Million Dead, whose vocalist Frank Turner went on to forge a successful solo career.

John Peel was a great supporter of the label and played the vast majority of their releases on his BBC Radio 1 show. In 2002, 5 Integrity releases (including B-sides) proudly appeared in Peel’s annual Festive Fifty.

In recent years, Integrity has also been the UK home for American artists such as ex-Babes In Toyland Kat Bjelland's Katastrophy Wife, Nashville-based duo Travis+Julie and former Low Anthem guitarist Daniel Lefkowitz's new band Futur Primitif, together with Australian all-girl scrunge-rock trio Valentiine and their Melbourne underground buddies Mannequin Death Squad; the most recent additions to the Integrity family being Danish dream-folkers MALMØ and Ida Wenøe, and Greenlander Simon Lynge.

The label's long-term ethos of discovering and supporting home-grown talent also remains strong, with album and EP releases from the likes of Pet Dog Storm, Miniature Dinosaurs, theLights, Horse Party, Silhouettes and Ghosts of Social Networks in their catalogue.
