Let's rewind back to 1990 and the early beginnings of the techno scene, forthcoming techno legend Damon Wild's descends upon Brooklyn, New York. Upon arrival Damon forges an alliance with Frankie Bones and Adam. He joins the team at Groove and ran the mail order department for their recently opened “Groove Records Shop”.


Quickly moving into music production, Damon presents a slew of releases under different aliases; building his name quickly on the still developing global techno circuit. Simultaneously, he activates the cult classic label “Experimental Records” which goes on to release many rising techno stars over the following years.

In 1994 Damon launches Synewave Records, this time with a focus on a freshly innovative, stripped down jacking-hypnotic techno. The label goes on to play a big and memorable part in techno history, influencing the many generations to come.

Fast forward to the present, Damon goes full circle to his beginnings with Sonic Groove (formerly the Groove Records Shop) and records a thought provocative, cutting edge album for his old friend and label owner Adam X.

With an eye always focused on sound innovation, Damon's latest album “Pleasure Builder” is a masterpiece of sound design, expanding his take on a genre he helped create 30+ years ago, “Hypnotic, Groove Techno.” This album is a must have for techno fans of all generations.

Premiere Damon Wild "Subforms"

Fou de studio, Jules Maurin alias Voltaire a toujours été exigeant sur l’art de manier les fréquences et les machines. Ses productions pointues où s’entremêlent rythmes, pads et mélodies, viennent former son univers : une techno astrale vibrant au tempo de kicks puissants. Depuis 2018, Voltaire a convaincu la scène électronique avec ses performances uniques, en Live ou en DJ. Il sort en 2019 son premier EP “Ignition” sur son propre label Aestria, qui est joué dans le monde entier par des artistes tels que Laurent Garnier, Helena Hauff, Umwelt ou Electric Rescue, du Canada à la Russie en passant par le Berghain et le Rex Club. En 2020, après un second EP sur Aestria, “Orbital Decay“, Voltaire rejoint le label Cod3 QR de Laurent Garnier et Scan X, avec une réédition vinyle de “I’ll See You Again” et XXII. Plus récemment, il a signé le EP "Devotion" sur A-Traction, un très beau remix du "Lune Atroce" de Marc Ayats &Jørgen Thorvald, mais aussi d'autres titres comme "Midnight Run", et "Dealing with loneliness" à nouveau sur Cod3 QR, et puis plus récemment un remix de "Tales from the real world" de Laurent Garnier et un nouveau titre remarquable sur la 16e sortie de Cod3 QR, et il ne va pas s'arrêter là !

"Under Heavy Hypnosis" is an EP inspired by the 3 stages of hypnosis: Deepener, Suggestions, and Emergence. It is characterized by its intricate textural elements, rich atmospheres, and ambient soundscapes that create an immersive auditory experience. Each track is crafted to transport the listener into a state of deep, rhythmic trance. Layered textures and subtle changes in atmospheric elements build an intense yet controlled energy, perfect for setting the mood in a dark, industrial setting. The growling, reverberating synths with expansive ambient layers play a central role, adding depth and character to the track that evokes a feeling of vast, empty spaces.

Vladimihir is an electronic experiment of an acoustic musician from Bombay, currently based in Berlin, aiming to create a unique fusion of hypnotic and industrial techno, pushing the boundaries with sound design that is characterized by raw and relentless energy, pounding basslines, driving rhythms, intricate percussions, and diverse elements.
