Really nice sounds, especially the bell-like lead... except that noisy sound is too harsh IMO, I kept wishing it wasn't there or was heavily low-passed, cause I really liked everything else. and though it did nicely build an atmoshpere, 8 min. was way too long with so many other songs to listen to

This is one of those tracks that grow on you, then stick around, creating a mood/vibe for the moment.

This really is one of my favourites, It really grows on you, Great atmosphere, builds and progression, maybe some of the low end is a little too distorted but does not detract too much imo. Well done!

Thanks very much for the comments, really glad that people were enjoying this track!  (I definitely hear the comments about length relataive to a contest song, by about song 30 in my rating I was also wincing a bit every time something was over ~4 minutes.)
