Louisahhh Boiler Room Paris Mix

Icram really got to know the world of electronics during his three-year residency in London, where he met the producer and owner of the Release Substance Records label, the Portuguese African Space Program aka Gabbi Lopez. 
With wide-ranging influences from jazz to nu-metal and everything in between these two disparate styles, Icram began his career with fresher beats, house, deep house, funky and hip-hop influenced groove, nu-metal. jazz, disco, R&B and other black music. 

Resident of Hypnosis Club for three years, Icram was changing his style for something darker, thus returning to his origins of his musical tastes this time swimming between Dark Wave, EBM and Techno with influences from Gothic, Post-Punk, Synth Wave and Wave. Icram has been to many Asturian venues numerous times, such as the Lanna Club and the Memphis Club, among others, and has also participated in mixes at art and design exhibitions in venues such as Musaeum and La Vida Alegre in Gijón or La Lata de Zinc in Oviedo. 

Currently collaborating with NC248 Radio at the Universidad Laboral, Icram brings us a podcast in vinyl format more focused on dance floors than what we are used to listening to, with more intensity but without losing that melodic harmony that characterizes it.

Strange But Dance Music #170: Calagad13

“Death by Ego” es el AKA de Icram con el cual ha decidido bautizar a su faceta más caótica y enfocada únicamente a las pistas de bailes nocturnas y dejando atrás esa forma ecléctica y genérica de englobar un gusto musical muy muy variado en un único nombre.

Con esta presentación y ya adentrándonos en el podcast, Death by Ego nos trae un Mix hecho para las orejas más exigentes sacando al público de los sonidos más comerciales a los que suele estar acostumbrado para meterles en una ensalada de cajas y ritmos arpeglados que no dejará indiferente a nadie.

Como siempre y por supuesto nunca abandonando sus ideales, Death by Ego pretende utilizar el lenguaje musical y sus mezclas con fines socio-políticos y conseguir así un canal de difusión para introducir mensajes subliminales entre la población e intentar derribar la gran barrera del individualismo que tanto intentan imponer desde el poder.

HardRose es una artista andaluza cuyo amor por la música nace de una búsqueda incansable de nuevos ritmos y sonidos, lo que la lleva a introducirse en la escena underground desde muy pequeña. Su curiosidad por lo poco común la impulsa a explorar constantemente y desde 2021 canaliza esta inquietud de manera continua tras los platos.

A lo largo de esta trayectoria, en poco tiempo ha dejado huella en clubs y salas como Jimmy Jazz (Gasteiz), Paris 15 (Málaga), Sala El Tren e Industrial Copera (Granada) y La Asociación (Madrid).

Creativa, inquieta y con un espíritu rebelde, se niega a conformarse con lo establecido. Aunque es reconocida por sus sesiones de electro canalla, su sonido trasciende géneros y se mueve entre diversos territorios siendo los breaks su brújula y sello distintivo. Para ella, lo esencial es construir una atmósfera en la pista de baile que conecte a un público diverso, uniendo así a amantes de distintos estilos en sesiones únicas e impredecibles.
