We would like to wish you a very warm welcome to That Disco Groove Radio Show episode 003. This show is a special one for us as not only is it the first edition to feature an exclusive guest mix at the conclusion, it also doubles up as our first birthday celebration.

As we turn one year old we look fondly back at our first year and everything we have achieved, which was made even more difficult during the pandemic. We have made so many great friends and discovered/shared tons of new music. We at CG would like to personally thank the 15,000+ listeners over the past year and the 500 listeners accross our first 2 radio shows. Every single like/repost/comment means the world to us.

Show 003 has a fantastic selection of music accross the disco, house and soulful spectrum. After 4 classic openers from recent years we turn our attention to The Bandcamp Beat which features a delightful edit of Jean Carn, courtesy of Souldynamic lads in Italy.

In our Recommended Releases, there is brand new music from Soul Central, CN Williams, Dr Packer, Reelsoul and Waves to name a few. Not to mention that we were delivered a promo by disco hitman Risk Assessment with 4U.

Label Focus turns its attention to GAMM enterprises who are one of the best labels in the game at edits and reinterpretations of soul, funk, jazz and disco. With a stacked back catalogue it was a very difficult choice to make!

The Vinyl Exclusive features a wonderous track from DJ Delivery and his 'Its All In The Groove' EP on Yellow Van Records. Do not miss this one.

Closing in classic style this week is none other than Delegation with the soul hit Heartache No 9.
