I dug out some of my favorite tracks from my label, @Drowne Records, and  recorded a mix. Enjoy:)

Drowne Records is a techno imprint formed and founded by myself and my partner in crime, Tony Vegazz, in 2012. It was a joy to see our baby slowly come to life with a growing audience and supporters, including many of our favorite techno artists. It was a pleasure to turn this little idea and dream I had into reality with Tony, a true techno enthusiast, passionate, driven, and loyal long-time friend, who I have known since one of my earliest events at a small bar in the middle of the Alps in 2003 (if I remember correctly).

After six years of hard work, thirty-five EPs, and two LPs, featuring some of the finest upcoming and established talents of the time, along with small and big achievements, great days as well as bad days, numerous Label Nights, and a ton of new connections and friends, we had to stop releasing music in 2016 due to a lack of time and shifting priorities. This was necessary and important at the time, but also a slightly sad step because, at that point, Drowne were on a path we really loved. 

Now, a few years later, after reflecting and seeing how life has unfolded with ever-changing priorities and new and regained passion, Tony and I have decided to officially close this chapter for good. Our baby has run its course in time, in our hearts, and in space. As we continue to grow, we have decided that there is no point in realigning or rebooting this idea, as new ideas and projects are emerging and aligning with our resonances.

To wrap things up completely, we have decided to release one more collection featuring tracks from both Tony and myself. We are not sure exactly when this will happen, but it will be either this year or next. This will be a final stamp on this chapter, and we are excited to drowne one last time.

With that said, we both want to express our gratitude and send love to all who supported us over the years, and of course, all the great artists we were able to work with, whether they are still active or not. Thank you, guys! I look forward to the next chapter.
