Mix Notes : This mix gets back to the roots of my preference on what I call “Chill Bangers” – Those tunes that despite the loud volume and noisy productions still keep melody and emotions intact at their cores. As usual, I am a sucker for emotional voices/ vocals and soulful Future Garage beats. So you get plenty of both in this package. No attention is paid to how old or new a tune is. Mix Notes : Is “Happiness” a personal choice? …Is “True Love” the only thing that makes “Happiness” possible? ...The tunes selected for this mix do not offer an answer to those two questions necessarily but somehow relate to the themes. From pain of loneliness and melancholy to the triumph of finding true love and perfect company, they take you on a short journey of self reflection. Hopefully, it will help one find his own answers as no two persons shall go through this journey using the same path.

More than half way through making this mix, it started to sound "boring" and “expected” to me. It felt like I was rushing to meet a imaginary deadline. Around the same time, I had to listen to the first three of my mixes in this series for another thing I am working on. It’s been quite a while since I had listened to them from start to finish. I then realized how much I missed the deeper, darker tone evident in my earlier MIXES. That’s when I decided to trash the new mix and start all over again …..Hence, the main reason for the delay in getting it done.

Not much else to say except hoping that you’ll like the final result. As always, no attention is paid to how old, popular or how new and fresh a tune is – In another words : A mish mash as usual. Music is my therapy ...It all started with being mesmerized listening to the hypnotic beat of Kraftwerk’s “Trans Euro Express” on a tiny cassette player at a very young age and it continues to this day at an age when I have to worry about “more important” things in life.
