Introducing Toy Tonics’ Newest Artist: Martha Pinel!
Brazilian DJ, vinyl digger, party starter, and style icon Martha Pinel has officially joined the Toy Tonics family. Splitting her time between Rio de Janeiro and Berlin, she’s the founder of Assembleia, a laid-back Rio party that’s become a Carnival sensation, and co-founder of Croma, a music-meets-fashion project that shaped Rio’s alt-scene. Featured on the cover of GQ Brazil, she was named one of “13 artists changing the world.”
Her non-linear DJ sets fuse Afro-Brazilian rhythms, Middle Eastern grooves, Italo, disco, house, and Balearic sounds - always bold, emotional, and unpredictable. She’s played Boiler Room, Paris Fashion Week, KALA Festival, DGTL, and more, alongside names like Hunee, Antal, and Prins Thomas.
Martha’s debut EP Real Rio captures a rediscovery of her hometown—a city where beauty and chaos collide in dramatic highs and lows. Z The track Assim reimagines Marcos Valle’s classic Estrelar with collaborator Gabto, reflecting on Rio’s unique “Body Culture” - that unmistakable energy you feel walking along Ipanema Beach.

SPILKA invite cette fois Kiss Allah – DJ, directeur créatif et explorateur des paysages sonores du Moyen-Orient, fondateur de @khvyliarecords. Ce mix est une véritable plongée dans son monde, unique et profondément personnel.

L’artiste le dédie à son meilleur ami Vlad, dont la guerre l’a séparé. Chacun se retrouve aujourd’hui d’un côté différent de la frontière, mais le lien demeure. Leurs vies ont changé, mais leurs âmes restent les mêmes. Ce mix est une ode à l’amitié et aux rêves inachevés, comme ce voyage à la mer et à l’océan qu’ils n’ont jamais pu faire ensemble.

La bande-son de cette échappée ensoleillée et chaleureuse a été soigneusement composée et s’écoute comme un kaléidoscope de « leurs » anciens morceaux favoris, mêlés à de l’ambient, du dub, du dubstep et une touche de rock psychédélique.

Kiss Allah adresse enfin ses salutations les plus chaleureuses à la Radio Station Station, depuis la ville côtière d’Odessa, imprégnée d’un esprit profondément français.

Such a pleasure to welcome Nicolai Sarbib aka CVLT (@cvlt-1) to the series! A man that was born in the UK and brought up between Lisbon and Porto in the heart of a family of jazz musicians. He is an avid collector and started playing music at an early age, what took him, through a lot of work to be one of the established figures from his hometown. Always in a quest to explore different sounds, he started the legendary "No Idols" party at Lounge club (Lisbon), where during the course of 12 years, he brought over 50 artists from Hashman Deejay to Joe Delon.

In this 1h mix he portrays some of his fantastic trippiness taking you on a voyage that you'd surely won't forget.
