Night has already exhaled, and in the hush before dawn a small force hangs in the air. It doesn’t flap its wings—it quantizes the air: a short stroke, a pause, another impulse, as if the music were testing the load-bearing capacity of silence. Altered Motive is the moment when the thrust stays the same but the trajectory shifts at a deeper level—by the DEEPNAS canon: not louder, but closer; not faster, but sharper.

Drillcut works at micro scale. His hit is a metronome’s needle; the bass a warm contour that holds altitude while everything else pivots in place. Every percussive figure is a sip of nectar: brief, directed, without excess sugar.
