This track was originally going to be part of my upcoming album 'Help Us Find The Groove', but I felt it didn't match the overall vibe of the album, so I'm releasing it here as it's own thing.

Here’s a jazz fusion plunderphonics track sampling sounds from several Mario Kart games. It’s no surprise that the game’s soundtrack is heavily inspired by jazz fusion. I decided to take some famous sounds from the games and even compose this tune using sound font emulations of instruments from Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart Doubledash (Gamecube) to capture the full Mario Kart experience.

I did break this rule however by adding some samples from several jazz fusion tracks, my own electric guitar licks and a blazing melodica solo, and all of this being in 7/8! Also, listen out for a famous lick in the solo, true Nintendo fans will know it!.

Composed using Soundfonts from 'Mario Kart Double Dash', Mario Kart Wii and some extra samples including Dave Weckl, Al Jarreau, Paula Abdul and extra drums from Logic and my trusty Melodica.
