On 16-12-23 we hosted this 'sister' event of Blasttek which took place in the BASEMENT area of club Haven. The concept of this set was to make a transition between a Tekno DJ and Diane Maiko after me. I used some truly old school tracks from around the 2013 era. Towards the end expect some Psycore sounds with the timeless classic Alpscore that peaks the energy!

Hitech-Tekno-Dark-Experimental/Dj-Set @ BlasT|Tek: BASEMENT [175-200]

On 18-05-2024 it was time for the third installment of BlasTTek. 
This edition featured Vox Fabri and Mad Scientist on the line up and this set was scheduled between those acts. 

I set out to make a 90minute journey on the overlap between Tekno/Darkpsy/Hitech/Psycore and Slambient. It features an eclectic selection of weird, groovy and hard hitting tracks all of them unique in their own way. Check out this madhouse of a tracklist!

Made this set to transition between Keflat' Tekno and Neuro Twister' Hitech. Expect a wildly hybrid set offering tracks between Tekno/Techno styles and Darkpsy, Hitech, Psycore & Slambient sounds. Starting with Tekno and Darkpsy, in the middle going towards an atmospheric chapter of dark experimental tracks that will be raising some eyebrows ;P  from there into more energetic Hitech tracks ending in a hardtek climax.

Toxic jungle is about the petrochemical age of humans. With petrochemical industry and capital we create and produce a lot of un-recyclable materials that mix with our earth. Nowadays you can find plastics, micro-plastics in the nature, in the forests, in the oceans, inside the animals and plants, as well as chemicals in the sea and the air. If we don’t stop producing such kind of materials, many animals and plants will die and our water and air and earth will suffer grave consequences. We will either evaporate or mutate in the ages to come with this defected life style offered to us by the petrochemical capital and industry. This album is to remind us that our earth is precious. There has always been infinite power and the circle of life in this planet, until one of the species, i.e. humans, gained the power to destroy everything.
Nowadays we are terribly worried about the human race with the epidemic of the corona virus. But we still cannot see that if we do not stop using this system we are living in, we will become the biggest and the most hazardous virus for this planet! We are growing in number each year unconsciously. Now there are more than 7 billion people living on this planet abiding the rules of this wrong and unfair system. People are dying each day by the thousands due to hunger and people killing each other for stupid reasons. A lot of animal species have become and are becoming extinct because of our unnatural system.
We need to start rethinking about our life styles and the system, because time is precious and planet we are wasting and destroying with our sad, pathetic and unsatisfied lives, is an only planet we know, that there is billion of life inside! It deserve to honor it and live with the best ways in a balance with other kinds!

IDIOBLAST a.k.a. Mats Weel, born in 1989, had his first experience with fast psychedelic music in 2011. Instantly intrigued by how the high BPM music affected his state of mind, he started collecting music fanatically. After graduating Academy of Fine Arts in 2012 he spend numerous years experimenting with different art forms. It was not until early 2017 that he discovered his true passion behind the decks. Because of his education he has a conceptual approach to his sets and a focus on thematic track selection. He aims to deliver polished and energetic sets, and tries to find a balance between variety and coherency.
