Formerly one half of a live duo, Oliver emerged as a self-titled solo artist in 2016, an outlet for cold electronics conceived by London-based producer and DJ, @oliver_gibson. Oliver’s sonic interests lay in a non-purist approach, a resistance against convention. After teasing edits in his sets and a remix of R.L Crutchfield’s classic ‘No, Nothing, Never’ from Dark Day, Gibson made his debut in late 2020 with a 5-track ‘Knuckle Love’ EP on the Moralez run, @msqrecords including remixes by @flmmkr and Lander. His style is an intersection between Post-Punk, EBM, Darkwave, Industrial Techno and Rave. His session explores these and more, building up patiently over the mix. Lock in!
