Typical Féfé découvre le reggae au début des années 80 en Martinique. Après s'être installé en France, il anime une émission reggae sur une radio locale, “Radio Clémentine", à Sartrouville. En 1988, il travaille avec le sound system Polino Hi-Fi, dans lequel on retrouve Tonton David, Nuttea et Polino. L'année suivante, en 1989, il forme le Stand Tall Sound System avec Mc Janik,, Jah Mike…

En 1991 sort son premier titre, Fantômes, sur la compilation "Ragga Dub Force". C'est le morceau Je chante pour les opprimés sur l’album du groupe rap Lafima qui le révèle au grand public en 1996. Après plusieurs titres (Pa Jigé sur “Lyrics Puissance 4" ou encore One, Two, Three sur l'album "Universal" des Ruff Neg), Féfé décide de retourner dans sa Martinique natale en 1995.

Là-bas, il se lie avec le Karukera Sound System avant de rencontrer le producteur Don Miguel, du label Don's Music. Typical Féfé pose ainsi trois morceaux sur la compilation "Dancehall News" : J’ai pas 100 balles, Burning Out, et Il sauve. En 2004, le titre Pull Up est un énorme hit diffusé par toutes les radios.

Typical Féfé a rejoint Tiwony au sein du Blackwarell Sound-System, Champion de France des sounds systems en 2003. On le retrouve aussi au Gala de Bienfaisance du Comité Général de soutien à Mumia Abu-Jamal, dans des shows donnés dans des centres de détention, ou dans le cadre du Téléthon.

Quand sa route croise celle de Tiwony, c'est la naissance du duo Double Trouble, qui se matérialise avec le premier album du même nom en 2002. Suivent plusieurs titres sur diverses compilations et riddims : Savage, Axxia Riddim, R2D2 Riddim, Killa Session, Storm Alarm, et même sur la B.O du film "RRrrr". Le duo remet ça en 2005 avec la sortie de leur nouvel album, "Revolution".

Based at 1’500 meter up high in the mountain of Verbier, Switzerland, Idren Sound known as the Mountain crew or the Mountain killing machine was founded in 2003 by three breddrin, Raffa, Macka and Mat’Ma. 
Idren’s ready to play for everybody and everywhere with an original and varied selection full of dubplates, anthems, killing tunes and remix coming from the oldies going to the fresh brand new dancehall hits.
They did several first parts concerts of big artists, organized a lot of juggling party and touched the scene with big international sounds like Sentinel, Massive B or Heavy Hammer. Finally the sound came to record his own CD-mixtape series called “Legalize the Mountain”. After five editions and a special Roots edition, the new one is coming out next December.
In between, Idren participated at The Matterhorn 45’ Shoot Out Clash 2K7, won the Spring Reggae Soundclash 2K8 in Lausanne, Switzerland, took the trophy of the Who Take Da Trophy Soundclash in Aubagne, France in 2009 and won the Baddadan clash Tagteam edition in Biel city in 2010. 2011, the crew created their own music agency called Mountain Side Music to organized their first Europe tour with Putus Roots, a Jamaican artist.
In the future, Idren Sound can’t wait to entertain the people and give them a nice musical experience."
