Sabo's record label, Sol Selectas, presents an organic house EP by Rameff that has Middle Eastern melodies and indie dance influences.

Rameff is a French artist living in Mexico, and he is back on Sol Selectas with his first solo EP on the imprint, after recently featuring a collaborative track on the 2025 edition of the annual Summer Sol compilation.

Utilising his background of being a percussionist and classically trained piano player, Rameff has applied his musicianship to electronic music. His tracks are a rich tapestry of sonic textures, and he combines organic sounds with synthesisers to create spellbinding grooves that are perfect for a dance floor.

Other record labels to feature Rameff's music include the likes of Baikal Nomads, Lump Records, • kosa •, Moblack Records, and Cosmic Awakenings. He is also a skilled DJ who plays hybrid sets combining live musicianship with expert track selection and the seamless blending of other people's music.

"Kasbah Fever" is the EP's title track, and it combines a chugging disco groove with Arabic melodies, Middle Eastern flutes, and a trippy vocal sample.

Next up, "Luxor Madness" layers a lurching bass synth with funky guitar chords and trippy vocal textures to create an upbeat groove with hallucinatory vibes.

"Goddess of Euphoria" has fluttering melodies inspired by Egyptian folk law, layering them with warped trumpet stabs, organ bursts, and mesmerising female vocals that have ceremonial undertones.

In the space of just a few years, Blasterjaxx has ascended from a relatively unknown production duo to a fixture of the EDM scene in astounding fashion. With an energetic sound packed to the brim with huge riffs, enormous builds, killer drops and infectious melody, they’ve time and time again proved themselves to be amongst the most exciting producers and DJs in the EDM scene. Thom and Idir’s meteoric rise to the top has has brought challenges, but they’ve always stood by each other, and together taken their electronic dance music to new levels.

Born and raised in The Hague, Netherlands, Thom Jongkind and Idir Makhlaf draw on their home country’s rich heritage to present a sound that interprets their distinctive toughness in a cutting-edge, contemporary fashion. After DJ Chuckie gave the duo their first break with their Carlos Barbosa collaboration Escucha on his Dirty Dutch Music imprint, the biggest dance labels around were soon vying for their output. 

From Spinnin’ Records to Ultra Music, they have left few stones unturned. Remixes for the likes of David Guetta, Armin Van Buuren, Tiësto, Steve Aoki and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike have continued to cement their place at the heart of the global EDM scene, with many millions of plays backing up their prolific body of work. 

Launching their own label, event and radio show concept Maxximize has been the latest major step in their career. Maxximize Records has given a platform to upcoming talents as well as established acts like DBSTF, Boostedkids, Breathe Carolina, Dannic and Jewelz & Sparkz. It’s quickly grown to become one of Beatport’s Top 10 best-selling Big Room labels — an incredibly impressive feat to achieve in just one year from launch.
