Sounds of Slowness presents a borderless collection of transportive sets, curated by Octupone.

Slowness is a collective of people, places and projects that reframe the way we come together. We build and nourish locally rooted places that offer a deeper, more conscious form of hospitality. Assembling a community of designers, farmers, writers, music scholars, artists, artisans and architects whose work engages with slowness, we are holistically developing destinations to support a resetting of values.

Frank Rübcke, known professionally as Octupone, is a Berlin-based music curator whose eclectic career spans four decades. Through countless excursions across the continents and into the archives, Octupone has become a walking anthology of global sound. Listening to thousands of records annually, he continually maps new musical territories, decanting his discoveries into sets with an uncanny ability to transform atmosphere. Everywhere that Slowness operates, Octupone’s selections describe the spirit of place and set the tone for moments of presence.

Octupone has spun his web of wicked tunes all over the world and then some: from the Soulkitchen or the Golden Pudel Club in his original hometown of Hamburg to the Bar Tausend, Jackie O or at the Party for the ECHO (Germany’s Grammys) in Berlin, from Rio de Janeiro via Tulum or Paris on to Mykonos or Hong Kong. Currently residing as DJ and Music Consultant and Supervisor at La Granja IBIZA, he rarely repeats and never ceases to amaze.

Emanuel Marcos, artistically known as IZHY, is an Argentine DJ and producer based at
Ibiza, recognized for his sound and his ability to fuse styles, keeping his
audience in constant motion.
He began his career as a DJ in 2017, participating in some of the most prestigious
cycles of the Argentine scene. In 2019, he decided to move to the old continent, where
began to develop his facet as a producer, expressing his emotions and feelings
through music.
Quickly, his talent began to receive the support of prominent artists such as Hernán
Cattaneo, Nick Warren,Hraach, Kora, Goldcap, among others. In 2020, he released his first release
on Kora's prestigious label, Saisons Musique, and later on other renowned labels
such as Hidden Dimension and The Soundgarden among others .....

IZHY has taken his music to international stages, with performances in Ibiza,
Asterdam and Turkey, in renowned venues such as Woomoon, BOHO, Las Dalias
,Beachouse, Bonjuk Bay, Laylah, among others.
