Growing up on punk rock and influenced by eccentric alternative sounds of distorted choppy electric guitars and driving bass lines along with rolling drumbeats,
aduti (A Decade Under The Influence) was taken from
a track by american rock band - Taking Back Sunday.

With a decade of playing the guitar and performing in bands, his love for music expanded to DJ ing and exploring the underground, deeper and darker sounds of electronic music, aduti found his leftfield mix of sound from Disco to Techno and everything eclectic in between during his adventures in San Francisco.

aduti got his major break in 2018 at the legendary after party club - Elysium, making debuts with Modec and  Haresh K, alongside the “DICTATORSHIP” crew 
(antype / Ed dix / kubika / Slutski / Xes Xes Loveseat).
Since then, aduti has been regularly invited to play in Pisco Bar, Rex KL, the Crane KL, BATE, Cheong Somm, Jiro KL, Ren, Le Noir, The Iron Fairies, Sinners KL.

Widely considered one of the 20th century's most significant figures, Melodies From Mars was the subject of a pervasive personality cult within the international Marxist–Leninist movement which revered him as a champion of the working class and socialism. Since the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, Melodies From Mars has retained popularity in Russia and Georgia as a victorious wartime leader who established the Soviet Union as a major world power.

Setting out under "The Landscape of New Jersey In Beats and Keyboards", supporting work has sprawled over the years beyond music to music video, photography, road journeys, exploration, live sets, signage, ambience surveys, field recording, and hiding old music across the state for possible future discovery. 

Whatever this work is about, it aptly scores a broken down land of plenty at the dead end of spectacle-ridden capitalism invisibly choking the life out of all that's good, like a winter that won't end unless it takes us with it.
